Chapter 6: Time

1 month later:

The past month has been amazing.  Apparently, my boss said that if I sacrificed 1 month of my work here on Georgia, I would return with a promotion in New York.  Asa had and I decided to stay here in Georgia.  Each of us rented our own apartment.  For some reason, we liked Georgia.  It was full of amazing scenery. Besides that, Aramis was going to leave but he said he would be 'supervising' Asa.  Which I find pretty silly.  He would never harm me, never has and never will.  I tried to convinve myself that I would soon be married.  Our wedding was due in 5 months! ( In April ) so far, we had everything ready! My heart raced whenever I saw that ring.  I was walking in the park when I felt that  human interation, I felt someone else's hand in mine.  I turned around to see Asa's fingers enter through mine.  I could feel His head on my shoulder. 

"How come you're here walking alone?" he asked

"I just needed to think.. ya know?" I told him

"Yeah, so... I guess you'll be my wife." he said to me looking in my eyes

I looked into his eyes.  Oh Gosh, here we go again with the wobbly knees.

He grabbed my hand and pressed on it.

"Have you thought were you want to go for you honeymoon?" he asked

"Hahaa, well its yours too." I looked at him

"Yes, but I want you to decide, I'll go wherever you go."

I thought about this one. "Africa?" I smirked at him

He stared at me.  Silent.

"Are you serious?" he asked discouraged

"Dead serious." I said with a chuckle

He looked away.

"I'm kidding! ha! no! I just wanted to see your reaction." I said

"Hahaa! you got me good!" he said chuckling

I looked at my hand to find my ring.  Oh snap! I had not told my mom.  She is going to be so happy!  Especially to hear from me since I hadn't talked to her.

"Hey Ase! I am going to call my mom!" I told him

"Right! I'll meet you back at that green bench over there!" he pointed]

"Okay!" I smiled

I opened my contacts to find Mom.  I pressed call.  It was ringing.

"Hello?" I heard her voice

"Mom?" 

"Clariss dear! How have you been? When are you coming back? Is it safe? How are you doing in school? What have you done?" she asked desperately searching for answers

"Haha mom! take it easy! School is fine, I am fine. In fact I come back to New York tomorrow, and well... I have big news." i told her

"I am all ears!" she said

"Well, I am getting married!" 

"Honey! that's wonderful!" she said

"Mhm.." 

"I knew he would be the one, I remember ever since you guys met, you two were inseperable.  Such an adorable couple! Honey I am so proud of you!"

"Thank You Mom! I love you! so, how's the family?
