A/N: So sorry for the long wait. As some of you may know, i've been busy with work, my brother moving with me and my sister, University and moving into a new apartment. Life has been quite hectic for me and it's difficult to find time to write.
After reading this chapter, please read the next one, which will be an announcement/question about this book. I really need your opinion. Thank you for waiting for me^^

The car stopped in front of a big white building, which faintly smelled as medicine, making Jimin to scrunch his nose in disgust. He hated that smell, mainly because it canceled every other smell and for a hybrid, it was almost as being blind, since they used their smell on a daily basis. He quickly got out of the car and shut it behind him, walking to Luna's side as Taehyung walked on the other side of her. It was weird, how familiar he was with them now and he believed that Luna won't hurt him. But there was still something missing or making him uncomfortable, something that he could not put his finger on yet. He was hoping that he could return back on the streets soon, since he didn't plan to get used to having a roof over his head and having as much food as he could, it could cost him a lot when he goes back there. It's always difficult for domesticated hybrids to adapt to the streets, most of them starving to death or ending captured by hybrid 'hunters' and sold to rich people. Jimin had to change his lifestyle once and he still remembers just how difficult it was. The sooner he goes back the better. He just needs to find the perfect moment to escape, preferably when Taehyung is not as home, since he could hear or smell Jimin trying to leave the house.
Luna smiled as Taehyung moved to talk to Jimin, trying to convince him to join him at work but Jimin looked quite uncomfortable at the mention of meeting other hybrids. Territory was something very important for strays, since it was the closest thing to a home, it was were they could find food and so they often had to fight against other hybrids or even packs of hybrids. Luna remembered one particular bad case, where a girl, a cat hybrid, was brought to the clinic by a teenager that found her beaten up, covered in blood.
Her condition was so bad, that nobody really believed she would survive her first night but she did and then she started healing, at least physically, her mental state being shaken up. It took months of therapy for her to open up, to tell them what happened that night.
Luna was there when the girl told her story: She was new on the streets, the shop where she was waiting to be sold to an owner deciding that she was too ugly to appeal to any customers, throwing her out on the streets with no food and only the thin clothes she had on. She managed to stay out of trouble for a week, always moving from alley to alley, knowing that she was trespassing on other hybrids' territory but the hunger was stronger than her fear. One night, she fell asleep and was woken up by people -hybrids- hitting her with their legs and fists, not even giving her a chance to explain herself or apologize. She was lucky that after they were done, a random boy passed by and he decided to help her and bring her to the clinic and there she was. Life was difficult for strays, especially women and children, often not being able to protect themselves against stronger hybrids.
The girl was eventually adopted but her story still affected Luna, a reminder that what she was doing the right thing, getting them off the streets and into a lovely home, thus reducing the stray population, territory and food fights as well. And for hybrids that didn't want to live with humans, there were different programs to still help them, like hybrid houses, where they could eat and sleep and then leave whenever they felt like, although they were not a popular due to the hybrids not trusting humans. It was a difficult fight, but Luna knew that 20 years ago, hybrids were treated like animals and that at least now there was some progress in changing that and she planned to continue working towards her goal.
