"Help, STOP!, WHY?!, Its your destiny, LUX!"

"The hell, kid?"

Asked Baccus while grabbing the agitated boy.

"I'm sorry, sir. I had a really weird dream."

"Was it the werewolf? The first time always sticks to you."

"I..I don't think so, sir, it was...something else."

"Anyway, the sun is about to rise, better get moving, we should arrive before dawn."

"Where are we heading again, sir?"

Asked the young squire while preparing the horse's saddle, while the old man put out the little sparks from the fireplace.

"Its the main province of the area, all hunters get their contracts and turn them in there. I also was given a house as a reward from an old contract. Good place to rest in between contracts. Also need to turn this pup right here."

Said the knight while tying the werewolf's head into the horse's saddle. The boy finished the preparations and both men jumped into the horse, continuing their travel.

"So, you're a bounty hunter?"

"That's right, kid. Been doing it for some years, now. Nice pay, and people will most of the time be grateful for slaying the monsters that terrorize them.

"Who asked for the werewolf's head?"

"Don't know, i saw it in a board and took it. Most of the others were ignoring it, probably didn't think it was worth the risk. But it was the highest pay, and its usual what I go for."

"Were you always a hunter, then?"

"No, no, I wasn't. Used to be part of the army. But took my leave some years ago, and settled down."

"Hunting monsters is his way of settling down?"

Thought the boy to himself while they continued the travel. Some hours later they finally arrived at the front of a giant gate, with two guards blocking their way.

"Well, well. If it ain't the old bastard himself? Back from another hunt, huh? What is it, the fourth this month alone?"

Said one of the guards while touching the werewolf's head.

"Fuck off, you're going to ruin the quality."

The knight kicked the guard away while continuing onwards.

"Hey, wait a second, Baccus. Who's the kid? Doesn't look from around here, the hell's wrong with his hair?"

"He's my squire, you annoying scoundrel, now open the damn gate."

Both the guards stood in silence for a few seconds, shocked with what they had just heard, then bursted out laughing.

"The demon himself, with a squire? That's priceless, well excuse me, my sire. Please go on, hahaha."

As they passed the gates, the boy came upon a sight that he had never seen before. Various merchants screamed their lungs out, luring people into their merchandise, while kids and little animals alike ran all around the place.

"Put this on."

Whispered Baccus while throwing a brown hood to the boy, so that he could hide his peculiar hair color. People took notice to them, anyway, as the werewolf's head brought attention, and everyone seemed to know the knight, too. Kids ran after them, while screaming out demon until they finally came to a stop.
