Carter opened his eyes. As he opened them, he immediately realized two things. One, he was not in his bedroom and the second was that he really, really itchy. As he stood up, he felt as if his legs were on fire. He immediately fell back down and groaned, not ready for the fall and hit his head.

Then he noticed the more important thing: he was in a forest or jungle of some sort. There were jungle trees and coconuts everywhere. The area was humid like a rainforest and his eyes hurting due to all the sunlight in his eyes. He blinked a few times, and squinted, keeping the sun out of his eyes. What jungle is this? Amazon? He wondered. He looked down as he sat up. What was he wearing? Carter wore just some grey pants, revealing his flat belly. His eyes wandered the landscape. About 5 yards from him, was a girl, and she was unconscious. What in the world?! He thought. Carter was so confused. But oddly.... Him and her were the only ones in the jungle... well, as far as he could see.

He waited for about an hour, he guessed. There was no clock, nothing happened, but he did find a necklace. It looked more like a amulet though. He couldn't reach it so he left it there, since he couldn't get up. Then a groan came from the girl. Her eyes fluttered open and she rolled to her stomach. He let out a smile. She looked hilarious, I shouldn't be thinking this, I'm sure I looked like this when I woke up. He thought. She sat up and looked around, finally noticing him. She gave a quick and quiet gasp and jumped back. Carter would have told her she was safe if he could find his voice. He stared at her, it was completely quiet until she said,

"Who are you?" He stared at her for a few more seconds before answering,

"M-My name is Carter. Who are you?" Carter said, emphasizing the 'you'.

Lynn groaned, rolling onto her stomach. Her bed seemed extra hard. Almost as if she wasn't on her bed. She fluttered her eyes open and heard a gooey pull, like the sound when you open you mouth. She looked to her right and her left and then jumped. What the heck is a boy doing in my room? She wondered, before realizing she wasn't in her room anymore. She jumped back, and let out a gasp. It was completely quiet, so she decided to break it by saying,

"Who are you?"

He replied saying, "M-My name is Carter. Who are you?" He asked back.

Should she tell him? Could she trust him with her name? Maybe he was the one who put her in the crazy jungle. But why would he have told her his name then?

"My name is Lynn. Why are we here? What are we wearing?!" She said, and realized she was wearing a bralette, and some shorts. She felt very embarrassed. She stood up and saw something shiny on the jungle floor. She walked to it and scooped it up.

"What is this, Carter?" Lynn asked. Carter shrugged and said,

"I saw it around 13 minutes ago. I can't stand up. Well, it hurts to. And I couldn't reach it." Carter said giving a sharp sigh.

"Should I put it on?"

"Sure. Just be careful with it."

"Wait. Look!" Lynn said and opened it. It was a locket thing! In the inside there was a picture of a baby and adult bald eagle. She showed it to Carter.

"Oh cool. Now, are you putting it on, or not?" Carter asked, pushing her to do it.

"Yep." Lynn said and she slipped it over her neck.

Carter gave a quick gasp as he saw the impossible.
