Chapter 16

(1 month later) 

Rachel's pov: 

    It's been 1 month since Finn told me about his past and I am so in love with him. We've just grown so much closer and I really think this could work . He just makes me feel better about me than I've felt ever since my brother died . I'm so happy with him and I feel so safe , I know I can trust him with anything . I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. Finn and I are celebrating our anniversary tonight and I wrote him a song . I'm going to sing it to him at dinner and I'm so nervous . I just want everything to be perfect for him. These past months have been dramatic and tonight I just wanna give him all the love in the world . I was upstairs curling my hair for school when my mom called me from downstairs, 

"Rachel can you can come down for a moment?" My mom asked me . 

"Coming mom." I said happily and went downstairs . 

I walked into the kitchen to see my mom and dad actually in the same room for once since my brother died. 

"Hey guys." I said .

"Rachel , sit down." My father said . 

"What's going on?" I asked . 

"Honey you're father got a new job at a really big law firm." My mom said. 

"Dad that's great." I said happily . 

"There's more, the job is in New York and we're moving." He said . 

My heart froze, it felt as if my whole world was crashing down, 

"What! No, we can't move my life is here, Finn is here , I'm happy here." I told him. 

"Rachel we are moving that's that." He told me . 

"No it's not I can't just leave this is my home, my life is here!" I yelled at them . 

"Ugh stop being so damn stupid because this is happening . This family is going and you're coming too !" My father yelled at me . 

"No I'm not!" I yelled fighting him and stormed out of the house in tears. 

(School) 

I pulled up to the school and parked my car. I can't believe this happening, they can't do this to me , they can't just take me away from everything I know it's not fair . I walked into the school after I stopped crying and I walked to my locker and opened it . 

"Hey gorgeous." Finn said wrapping his arms around my body . 

"Hi handsome." I said holding him close not wanting to let him go. 

He looked at me and saw my eyes were all swollen and red from crying. 

"Rach, whats wrong?" He asked me. 

I smiled trying to hold the tears back but I couldn't hep but cry into his arms, 

"My dad got a new job  in New York and ....." I was trying to get the words out but couldn't , "I'm moving...."
