Featuring Kelly Oubre Jr and Dwyane Wade.
You only realise how important someone is to you until they are gone. The lack of their absence sends you in a frenzy. It sends you crazy. Misery swells in your soul and pain aches your heart. You scream to the heavens and ask why did this happen to your lover. He was nothing but a good man, who thrive from the struggle. He worked his way to the top, but his life was ended by those who envy him.
"Baby. You know your boy got some haters out there that tryna get me. So we gota be safe down here." Kelly said as you guys arrived in his home town of New Orleans. You laughed it off, knowing haters would just be haters and never expected anything serious.
The trip was going nice until that one day, you, Kelly and his sister went to the local park to chill. The three of you guys just gotten ice cream and you couldn't ask for a better moment. Everything turned red and fear instilled in your heart and you heard gun shots echoing through the premises. Kelly's large body collapse to the ground and tears streamed down your face.
"Kelz. Kelz. Wake up please." his sister said shaking his now life-less body. It hurt you to even watch him. You rocked back and forth on the grass, trying to convince yourself that this was a bad dream. Sirens blasted through the streets as the paramedics finally arrived to the seen. After checking his pulse, they officially pronounced him dead. Cold chills ran through your spine as they put him away in the body bag.
Your lover, your true love, was now gone.
This all happened because someone thought it would be right to hurt him, due to envy and jealousy. Evil swarmed in that persons heart and it made you angry. So angry that you screamed to the top of your lungs, spilling all kind of profanity into the now toxic air. His sister came by your side and tried to comfort you and find some of her own.
Back home, in your apartment, misery took over. You couldn't sleep, you couldn't eat. You looked up to the heavens praying for comfort and joy. Looking for something that would bring peace back into your life.
Wrapped in the huge comforter and clothed in one of Kelly's shirt, you finally fall into a slumber for the first time in months. Deep into your sleep you heard a familiar voice.
"Baby girl. I need you to stop worrying okay. I am in a better place." Kelly said as he kissed your hands.
"I want you to know that I am always here watching and protecting you. Go out there and do something great. Make a change baby girl and do make it great with your fine self." He said with his signature smirk. He spun you around and rubbed his chin.
"You look mighty fine in my shirt as well" He said biting his lips. "Let me stop with these thoughts." he said chuckling to himself. He gave you a long passionate kiss and left a piece of paper in your hand.
"Aight ma. I got to go. Apostle Peter here waiting for me. We bout to check out God for a seccond. God is awesome. The story on how he kicked out satan is so funny. This man is Crazzzzzzzzy." he said laughing. "Stay safe and remember that I am always there."
You shot back up from your sleep to find an empty room. You sighed again as your head hit the plush pillow. You picked up your phone and scrolled through twitter, seeing that Dwayne Wade was now a trending topic. His cousin's funeral today, another innocent person, who life was lost through gang violence, and the speech he said at her funeral was now trending.
"When are we going to stop killing our brothers and sisters? When will the slaughter stop? Why everytime we burry someone dude to either gang violence or police brutality or anything else, we sit down and cry about we need a change but don't do anything about it? Why is there so much hate pilled up in our hearts? Why do we keep doing wrong? Why don't we continue to fight for what is right? How much more funerals does the reverend have to officiate? Preaching the same sermon over and over and over again about finding peace within ourselves. Questions we asked the legislators on gun laws can never be answered. Mothers out here crying and screaming for justice. Young kids can't have fun like before due to the fear of being outside. It doesn't matter what race, religion or ethnicity your represent. We should all fight for peace. We have sooo many angels around us, telling us where to go, don't do what they did. But are we listening? Are we fighting for the right cause? For peace and justice amoung the earth. R.I.P. my dear cousin. May your legacy have a strong and positive impact on us." Dwayne Wade closed his speech as I tear rolled down his face. The video ended with the words 'What are you going to do to help bring peace on earth'.
You smiled at yourself and realise that is time to make a change. You had your angel beside you and God looking out as well. This was the time to make a change.
They was talking "woo woo this woo wap da bam"
City so damn great, I feel like Alexand'
Wear your halo like a hat, that's like the latest fashion
