Elevator Confession

Emma's P.O.V.

The Rio Olympics are the best. Besides the whole Zika and other issues that I don't feel like remembering, Team USA and I are having a blast. I thank God each day for the opportunity to play for the women's basketball team, especially amoung greats like Diana Taurasi and Maya More (A/N they are my favs tbh 😍). I also got the opportunity to hang out with the male team, since I am really close with most of them.

I was the last on back on ship from practice, because I wanted to get some extra shots in. Wanting to get in the shower, I quickly reached to the elevator as I wrapped my blond pony tail into a messy bun.

"Aye hold the elevator." Jimmy Bulter yelled as he and Klay Thompson ran to catch it. I pressed the open button, so they had the opportunity to get in.

Jimmy pressed all the buttons for each floor. This is going to be a long ride.

"Ask her" Klay whispered, well try to whisper to Jimmy

"No." he answered back.

"Ask me what?" I said standing between the two.
"Jimmy has to ask you something, but he is stalling." Klay said shaking his head. Jimmy gave him one 'I will kill you' later look.

"Okay Butler. The floor is yours." I said facing him. He was a really fine gentleman.

"Fine. Emma we known each other for a while now. But.." he stopped mid sentence.

"But what" both Klay and I asked.

"I just don't want us to be friends. I am really interested in you. So I want to know if you would like to go on a date with me tonight? Since both of us are free." he asked as he watched me. It felt like my blue eyes were glistening. I can't believe he wants to go out with Me.

"Are you serious me. Out of the entire team?" I asked in disbelief. They were way prettier girls on the team I believed.

"Emma. You pretty plus the half of the team likes girls and Brittney can beat us all up soo." Klay said causing Jimmy to nod in agreement.

"Plus I genuinely like you." Jimmy said to me.

"Okay I'll go on the date with you tonight." I said as the elevator stopped at my floor.

"Great. I'll pick you up at 7"he said to me as I left the elevator. I waved at them and headed to my room. I bumped into Maya as she had a big grin on her face.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked her laughing.

"Pick you up at 7 eh. Mhhhm. Wait till the girls hear that little miss Emma has a date." she said laughing.

"Oh whatever"

Jimmy's P.O.V.

"Guys guess what" Klay said as we entered the sky lounge where Dray, Kyrie, KD, Derozan and Lowry were hanging out.

"What's up?" Demar said.

"Jimmy got a date with Emma." Jimmy said cheesing.

"AYEEE MY BOY. DOING HIS THANG" Draymond said hyping everyone up. They guys were busy making up scenarios and laughing with each other. This made more more anxious for my date.
