Chapter 3

Ginny's POV -

Pretending to tie up my shoelaces in the Quidditch changing rooms, I grabbed the back of Harry's robes, and kept a tight grip until everyone had left.

"We need to throw a party." I told him, "To get Ron and Hermione tipsy, and then sort of throw them together."

"How are we going to throw a party?" Harry enquired.

"No, see, I've thought this all through. Next time we have a Hogsmeade visit, we'll stock up on Firewhisky and Butterbeer, and then when we next have a Quidditch game, we can have a party in the common room after. Also we can ask the elves, Dobby would do anything for you."

"Okay, this could actually work. Also its a good excuse for a party." Harry said, smiling.

"Exactly. Right, we'll start telling people, it can be after our game with Slytherin next Saturday. We'll go to Hogsmeade this Saturday."

"Yes, brilliant, but we really need to train now." Harry said, pulling me outside into the bright sunshine.

Hermione's POV, Saturday -

"Right, guys, I'm going to Hogsmeade, so I'll see you when I get back." Harry was speaking quickly, and he had walked away before I could answer.

"Who's he going with?" I asked Ron curiously.

"Look!" Ron said, sitting up in his armchair. I glanced over my shoulder as Ginny walked over to the portrait hole, where Harry was waiting for her. He gently touched her elbow in greeting, and then they were gone.

"They are so doing each other." I said. "Our plan has worked!"

"We haven't even properly been doing the plan yet! And my sister and best friend are not sleeping together." Ron said.

"Yet." I said, before laughing and patting Ron's knee to let him know I was joking. "But seriously, we need to step up our game. Maybe force them on a date?"

"That could work. We could pretend to all be meeting up, and then we could cancel at the last minute."

"Ron, that's brilliant." I told him. The rest of the day was spent planning the fake meet up, and the hours seemed to fly by extremely quickly.
