Uhane's POV

I tap my pencil on the desk and pop a piece of spearmint bubble gum into my mouth. There is about 10 minutes until class starts, but mostly everyone is here.

"Hey, Uhane, who are you going to the dance with?" One boy from my class asks me. His friend group all turn around and look at me as well.

I give them a toxic glance.

"God damn you. I'm not going with anyone," I say, rolling my eyes.

"Are you sure about that? You could go with me," another says.

I smirk.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I want to go to the dance with a piece of trash such as yourself?" I say. I stand up and walk over to him crouching down beside him. I take his cheek in my hand, and very slowly, lean in. And just before my lips meet his...

I smack him.

Hard.

So hard, a red hand print is left on the side of his face.

A bunch of "Get Wrecked"s fly around the room, along with some shrieks and a couple whistles. I walk up to the front of the room, take a bow, and return to my seat.

I hate most of the boys in my class, and he is no exception. I don't even know half of their names. It's not like I need to.

I flip a couple strands of my hair out of my face. My hair is wavy and dirty blond, but the ends are permanently dyed bright, neon pink.

I take out my phone, but I am interrupted as my teacher, Mrs. Argyle, powerwalks into the room.

"Class, I have something important to share with you," she starts. Hardly anyone is listening, and I'm certainly trying not to.

"We are going to have a new student today,"

The room falls dead silent.

"Fresh meat, eh?" I chime, as I smear on some shimmery, pink lip gloss.

"Yes, and she's a Light Witch," Mrs. Argyle says.

A few kids snicker. The poor kid won't last a day here.

"And Uhane, I'd like you to be her guide," She finishes.

I slam my palms on the desk.

"What?" I say, as my eyes widen. "Why the hell are you sticking the goody-two-shoes on me?"

"Because you are the top student here,"

"That shouldn't-"

"End of discussion. She'll be here in 5 minutes," Mrs. Argyle exclaims as she jets out of the room.

Well, I may be her guide, but I'm going to make sure that Light Witch knows her place here.

Ells' POV
Alright. This is it. Day one at a new class, with new students. Dark witches...

I walk to the door and think. Is this what I really want? I'm kinda nervous. Dark witches and Light witches never seemed to really get along. What if I don't make any friends? I'll be fine! But, I can always call it quits... No! Never! This is a special class! Not many WIT's even get this opportunity! Anyways, what could happen?

I go and nervously put my hand to the door. I can do this. I open the door and the whole room becomes silent. All the kids had their eyes staring at me. It was like they were staring into my soul.

"Ah! So you must be the transfer student. My name is Mrs. Argyle! It's nice to meet you, Ms. Marwick." She said. She looked pretty nice, and that's always a good sign... Right?

"Hello, Mrs. Argyle! I'm just gonna tell you now, I'm really confused, and have no idea what I should be doing right now, so, can you just... help me out here, and I-"

"Oh, don't worry! Uhane over here is going to help you around here and get you started." She said pointing to a girl with dirty blonde hair and bright pink tips. She seemed a little aggravated. I hope I wasn't causing any trouble...

"Alrighty! Thank you, Mrs. Argyle!" I said, as I walked and sat down on the seat next to Uhane.

Everybody in this class was wearing black witch outfits. It was a little strange, because I was the only Light Witch in the class. I have long brown hair that goes down to my knees. My eyes are a bright purple, and I had a white witch outfit. My witch hat was white, but with a purple trim on it.

"Hello, Uhane. My name is Ells! I hope we can be good friends!" I said, with a smile.
