Percy P.O.V
My mind was black for what seemed like a while. I thought I was dead, but I wasn't heading for the underworld. Suddenly, the Three Fates appear before me. They were weaving a sea-green scarf. I assumed it was mine.
"Hello, Perseus." All three said in unison, which was kind of creepy.
"Uh, Hi, Lady Fates. Am I dead?" I asked
"No, you are in a state of unconsciousness. But enough with that, we have a question for you." Middle replied.
"Ask away," I was wonder what kind of question they were going to ask.
"Now, we normally don't give this option to many heroes, but, you saved the world for the third time. We believe that you deserve something special." Leftey said,
"You get to decide part of your fate. Now chose wisely." Righty said, and they disappeared, but two portals opened. One showed my Mom and Paul, and the other showed the rest of the Seven. Chose Wisely. Her words rang in my head. How was I suppose to pick between my Best friends and the one I love and The woman who raised me and the man who accepted my crazy life.
"Percy," My mom said, she looked strait at me "I know you want your friends back. I saw how depressed you were from the underworld. Even with me and Paul back, you would never move on from Annabeth. Just know that I love you." I was crying now. She wanted me to pick my friends over her.
"Go ahead Percy, I'll take good care of your mother down here." Paul said and smiled.
"I love you guys, and I'll miss you." I replied, crying. I moved over to my friends and then a bright light flashed in my eyes and a loud roar rang in my ears.
