The New Gods

I'm walking down a park I found, it is very peaceful I must say. All you could hear is birds chirping and the sounds of children playing. I love watching the sunsets here. There so bright and red. I wish Heaven was more like Earth. Heaven is way more beautiful than Earth but, all the fighting between angels, all the chaos up there just makes it feel like Hell.

As I was walking, I heard someone shout my name behind me, "Castiel!" I turned around to see who it was. I sighed, Bartholomew... "Why does he have to be here? Can't I just spend my time alone with peace and quiet?" I said in my head. Bartholomew ran up behind me "Oh I'm sorry, you're brother is a pain in the ass" Bartholomew answered. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "The archangels told me to check up on you. Their order on killing somebody is running pretty late. You've been stalling them for so long" Bartholomew answered. I have become to frustrated with these orders, I began to stall them with everything. No matter what they tell me to do I'm not going to listen, there no God.

"Tell them It'll be done soon" I said lying to Bartholomew. He grabbed my collar and put a blade to my neck "Stop playing games Castiel, do as your told" Bartholomew said angrily. "You guys can't play God with me, you are just a bunch of filthy pigs, and you guys call yourselves angels" I gave Bartholomew a stern look. Bartholomew squinted his eyes, "We are undoing whatever God has done. Killing all of existence on this filthy planet. There the ones who have caused all this chaos NOT US" Bartholomew shouted.

I quickly pushed the blade away and pinned Bartholomew on a tree. "But first you'll have to get through me" I said. Bartholomew laughed, "The archangels will squash you like bug, you're no match for them". "I don't care, I'll give my life if I have to, to protect God's creation". "Oh we'll see about that, little Castiel". I became so enraged with anger that I stabbed Bartholomew and killed him.

I killed my own brother, my own blood.
