"I did the wrong thing.... I should've done something. I was so close. DAMMIT!" I clenched the steering wheel really hard, "Just wait until Sam finds out, he's going to kill me." I finally reached the bunker and parked my car outside. I reached to knock on the door but, I was too scared. "Why am I so scared.....?"I knocked the door softly. "Coming!" There was shout from behind the door. Sounded like it was Dean. "Hey sunshine" Dean said sarcastically. "Hello Dean." I barged in looking downstairs for Sam. I frantically ran through every room, just to look for him. "CASS! What the hell are you doing?" Dean shouted from behind. "DEAN! Where's Sam?" I stopped to catch my breath.
"He's gone out to get something to eat. Why?"
"Nothing... I just wanted to tell him something."
"You were running around like your pants were on fire. Must be something important." Dean said firmly.
"Well uhh.... I uhh.... I wanted to tell him that... I found his watch that he lost in my car....."
"Cass, are you lying to me?"
"Dean, I would never lie to you. Sam was worried about it so I just wanted to tell him....."
Dean rolled his eyes, "That concerned over a watch? WOW"
I hated lying. Especially to Dean. I'm his "faithful" brother.
"I don't know... It's Sam. I guess he cares about his things a lot."
Dean pulled out a chair and sat down, putting his feet up on the table.
"Sam, Sam, Sam, where are you?" I whispered in under my breath as I walked back and forth impatiently.
"Cass, your pants are on fire. C'mon calm yourself."
"I'll be right back."
"Where you going?" Dean asked
"Bathroom."
I ran to the bathroom as fast as I can. Opening the door frantically, I locked it and pulled out my phone from my pocket. I quickly called Sam, I was to scared to tell him everything in person. It'd be better if I told him now. The phone kept ringing for five minutes. "C'mon... Sam... C'mon. Pick up please!"
"Cass!" Sam shouted from the phone.
"Hey, Sam. I need to tell you something." I said nervously.
"Is it something regarding Michael?" Sam said firmly.
"I didn't want to tell him.... I think I did the wrong thing calling him." I thought in my head
"Cass, you there?"
"Yes, Sam I'm still here.."
"So? What do you want to tell me"
"You were right it was something about Michael."
"Did you find out where he his? Any new news on him?"
"Sam..... I met him."
"..... you met HIM?"
"I was driving to the gas station, I stopped just to get gas. When I stood there I noticed there was blood in the store. The walls, the things, it was like someone exploded. The only thought that came to my mind that only an angel can do this. I later noticed there was someone walking out of the store. Maybe they were running, maybe it was the angel who did it. I followed the angel and we looked at each other face to face. It was Michael Sam, it was THE Michael. An archangel that's running rogue in the streets. He looked so broken Sam. It was like someone sucked the life out of him. I offered some help but, he refused. I gave him my phone number and he accepted it. He was so KIND Sam. I couldn't believe it. He was acting so different. He's not the Michael I used to know. We were going to use his grace for the sword but.... I felt pity for him Sam. I couldn't just capture him and bring him to the bunker. I was scared you would get frustrated that I didn't. But, I didn't want to hide it from you."
There was a long pause after what I had told Sam. Waiting on his response he finally replied:
"It's okay Cass."
Cass shocked, "Really? You're not mad at me?"
"Look I know he's your brother... you love him a lot despite all that he's done. I know it'll take you time to do this... I'm just warning you Castiel, that Lucifer is out there. We need to do something as quickly as possible. There's a million lives depending on us."
"Thanks Sam.... but I promise I'll do it next time." Castiel said relieved.
"I'll see you at the bunker." Sam replied.
"Bye Sam."
"Bye Cass."
The phone beeped and was disconnected. "I can't believe Sam was so cool about it." I walked out of the bathroom and went to the table.
"Cass! Cass!" Dean kept shouting.
Entering the main room where Dean was, he said: I'm going to go get some air. Getting a little stuffy in here."
"Alright Dean. I'll be right here. I think I'll stay over just for today."
Dean sighed, "You sure you and Sam aren't hiding anything from me?"
I stared into Dean's eyes, "No Dean, we would never hide anything from me." Man, I hated lying. Especially to Dean. I thought in my head.
"Alright Cass. I believe you." He took his jacket and went up he stairs toward the impala.
"I need to tell him. I need to to let him know. I can't let him stay in the dark." I sighed and sat down on a chair, putting my head down.
