Song has nothing to do with this chapter, I just like it

"Who knows what 6 to the power of 8 times 14 equals? It's basic math guys." Mr. Keen said as he sat at his desk,  sipping 'coffee'. No one raised there hands. Half of them were sleeping,  half of them working it out. But Michael was still pissed at Luke for the worst tip he'd ever had. So he decided to write a note to Luke.

(Italics are Mikey,  bold is Luke)

38 cents?! Really?! Do you know how much trouble it was to carry all that fucking food?!

And he passed it to Luke.  He slowly opened it and almost smirked.

Shut it,  hobo. Wanna know how to get more money?

Uh...Sure?

Sell yourself like the money whore you are.

Michael couldn't believe what he read. "You little-" "Michael? I asked you a question." Mr.  Keen said,  beginning to slurr his words. "Um..." Michael hurried and typed it in the calculator, "23514624 sir." He said. "How did you figure that out? You're passing notes with Luke." He said and took another drink. "Calculator..." He said.  He knew using calculators we're against the rules. "After school detention,  Michael. You know that's against rules." He shook his head.

No... I can't have detention! I have to take Tori,  Alex,  and Madison back home and work today! "Sir-" "Shh. Get to work." He said. Michael huffed and continued doing his work until class.  He still had a page left,  maybe he could do it on his break at work.

As people left,  he walked up to Mr.  Keen's desk.  "Sir,  I have things to do after school.  I can't have detention today." He pleaded. "I'm sorry,  Michael,  but we can't reschedule it." He said,  packing his things. "Sir,  I have work and I have to take my siblings home.  Please."  He begged.  He also lied about Madison being his little sister,  he didn't want people to know it was his daughter.

Mr.  Keen sighed. "What do you have for enrichment Monday?" He asked.  "Um...P.E." He said. "Are you off?" He asked, Michael nodded in return. "Stay during enrichment and after class." He said and chugged te rest of his drink down. "Thank you sir." Michael said as he began to walk out,  "By the way. What's in your 'coffee'?" He asked. All  Mr. Keen did was smirk and pull his index finger to his lips, walking out of the room.

Michael shook it off and walked to the front to wait on Tori and Alex. Then he realized He said AFTER SCHOOL! What about Torie,  Alex  and Madison?

He ran to catch up to Mr. Keen. "Sir! I have to walk my siblings home, remember?" He asked. "Ill just get Luke to walk them home." He said and walked off.

No, not Luke!
