"Dear America,
I know you are still in the Pacific, but I'd like to let you know that V.E. Day has finally occured! Germany stood down on May 8, 1945 (I don't know when you'll get this, but there's the date.)! We've decided to have the meeting deciding what to do with the Axis members when you and Japan finally stop deciding who's is bigger. See you then!
Sincerely,
Britain."
America sighed and looked to one of his scientists, "Is the bomb ready?" America asked. The scientist nodded, "Blow it up." America said. The scientist took a walkie-talkie and ordered the bomb to be dropped. America stood miles away from the area the bomb was supposed to be dropped so he could safely watch the explosion. A plane flew above them, America watched it fly by and turned when he heard an ungodly explosion. He turned to watch his creation create total chaos to the sand below it. America watched in awe as the monsterous fireball flew above the clouds and out of his sight. America couldn't believe was he was seeing, how could an explosion the big be made by man? Suddenly a large burst of wind hit America and his scientists, it caught them all off guard, picking up their papers and taking them with it. America looked at the explosion, it took the form of a dark grey mushroom. The explosion turned the sky red and everything around it a dark orange. The houses and trailers set around it were decimated immediately after the shockwave shot by. The cloud of smoke kept getting higher and higher until the stem dissipated. It seemed as if the cloud would never go away. "Good god what have I created?" America mumbled.
Japan sat in his office, waiting for the next day. He was to go away on business in another city, he had nothing to do until then. There was a call, Japan turned and picked up his phone, "Kon'nichiwa?" Japan answered.
"Japan, I need to talk to you." America said.
"What do you want America, to shoot me again?" Japan growled.
"You had it coming, I told you to stop advancing."
"It hurt."
"I bet it did."
"What did you call for?"
"I'm giving you a warning, surrender by next week or I'll bring catastrophe to your land."
"You think you scare me?"
"I know I scare you."
"You have no idea how wrong you are."
"I'm giving you a week."
"I'll never surrender, it is blasphemy to my ancestors!" Japan slammed the phone down. He'd never give up, not even in death. Something about America just made him so mad, he had never felt that way about America before. They were such great friends, but then something just clicked inside of Japan that made him want to kill America, was it the war in Europe? Was it the Imperialism? Maybe it was something else, the hunger for power maybe. Whatever it was, it made Japan an animal. Japan wouldn't even give up when his last man was down, he was going to finish his job with flying colors.
The day had come, Japan hadn't given up. America sat at his phone, waiting for Japan to call. America's General opened the door to his office and looked at America, "You're still waiting?" he asked.
"He'll call, he isn't dumb. He knew I wasn't lying." America said.
"It's time, America." the General said.
"A couple more hours."
"We gave them a week, isn't that enough?"
"I don't think so."
