- My phone rang for the 50th time. And I know its him. I looked at my phone as more text messages came through. I turned my phone on silent, parked my car at a hotel and got Yaya out. I walked in and got a room, then went to the room. Yaya ran inside as soon as she saw the big fluffy bed and proceeded to jump on it. I just smiled, hiding the emotions I had. I didn't even respond. I turned my phone off and got dressed. I slid on my bikini and a rose gold maxi dress. Once Yaya walked out of the bathroom in her polka dotted bathing suit, I grabbed our towels and walked out holding her hand to the outdoor pool. I sat in a lawn chair as I watched her get in the water and hold her own. I sat there, millions of thoughts running through my mind. Trying to make up the best explanations for whatever.
