Me & YaYa were out spending family time wif Dre. We were in tha truck, on the way to a water park. Keke, Jayla, & Braun tagged along wif us. We turned the radio up, as one of my fav songs started to blast thru tha speakers.

"Oh forreal? Get tah steppin. Nah I'm jp bae."He came & wrapped his arms around my waist. Jayla & YaYa skipped in front of us, while Braun & Keke just walked along, mumbling shit to each otha. We paid to get in & made sure we saw where our kids were going.

"Hey, can u watch Jayla for a few, me & Braun gonna take a walk." Keke came ova & asked.

"Yeah. Make sure nigga don't get outta line wif u."

"Ight boo, Ty." I nodded & she walked off wif him.

"So where are they going?" Dre asked as he sat down.

"For a walk. Sumn ain't right about him. Ima find out soon."

"Okaaay. B4 u find out, let's focus on us. Now. Like now. " I chuckled & shook my head. He sat wif me in the long chair & wrapped his arms around me.

Keke POV~

"You wanted to walk & talk. Okay we walking & u ain't even talkin bruh."

"I just wanted to say sorry for all tht dumb shit I did. You & I both know it wasn't right. I uhm got a job."

"Whoop Dee Doo" I said sarcastically. See, Braun got a college degree in business. He just needa get his head str8.

"I need you & Jayla in my life. Plzz take me back. I've been so fvcked up for too long. It's time I get my shit togetha. Who knows what could happen the next day?." Tht right there left me in confusion & left me questioning, but I didn't ask what he meant by tht.

"Right." I thought for a minute. "Okeehh.." He wrapped his arms around me & hugged me tightly. I smiled, I missed being in his arms, tht particular scent he always carried, && his pretty eyes. We walked back to where Mimi & Dre were, laughing, & joking, playing around. I actually enjoyed myself.

3 hours l8r..

"Alright girls let's go." Mimi said dripping wet. Dre & Braun thought it would be funny if they got buckets of water & threw it On us. We was mad as fvck. We got our hair wet!!! Maaan. They dropped me & Braun & Jayla off at my house. Ig he staying ova, cuz it's bout to be 11 pm & he ain't left yet.

"You know I love yall right?" I nodded. He kissed me. He went in jayla's room, knelt down by her side, & kissed her cheek, he said I love you babygirl, always remember tht. I was getting a little scared, but I didn't pay tht any mind. She told him I love you 2 daddy & she held the teddy bear & locket she had from him since she was born. The locket was on the teddy bear. He kissed her forehead & got up. He closed her door & pulled me to the living room. He just hugged me. He kissed my cheek.

"I uhm got sumn for u." He dug in his pocket, he pulled out a thick envelope. He told me don't open it at all until told so. "Keke, your my babymama, my first love, my everything, your my ride or die, even tho I know I scarred your heart. Those scars heal. I would neva be able to forgive what I did to u. But Ik what I can do. I can tell you exactly how I feel, I feel like you deserve the best, I wanna be tha one to give u tha best. I love the way you blink." I chuckled but he was dead ass. I held my head down. He tilted it back up, & rubbed the tear away tht I noticed comin down my red cheeks. "You would be tha one I would want to be wif for the rest of my life." He got on one knee. My eyes got wide. Tears started to flow down my face. "I guess what I'm tryin to say is, Keke, will you marry me?" I nodded, as he,slipped the diamond 14 karat ring on my finger. He picked me up & spun me around. I laid on the couch wif him, listening to him hum Cupid by Lloyd. I started to go bck to sleep, as he changed songs && hummed Let Me Love You by Neyo.

Omniscient POV~

As Keke got deep into her sleep, Braun slowly got up. He looked at the envelope. He tucked it under her arms as she lay peacefully asleep. He kissed her & Jayla once more & said I love you. He walked out the door. He was only going to make a,run, && get out of the game, knowin it wasn't easy. But he was willing to do what he had to do for his family. His vision blurred as tears started to slip down his face. He wouldn't kno if he made it home tonight, but, he had to do this. For Jayla & Keke. But, his vision got blurry, he tried to swerve out the way.... He tried. But it was too little, too late.
