Chapter 26. S A V E H E R

Naja.

I ran through the house as he chased me after I had got off the phone. My body was aching. I don't think I can handle anymore of this. I needed a place where I can hide out for now. I ran into the bedroom & roll under the bed hiding. It went quiet. I didn't know.. I swear.. I didn't hear him.. But next thing you know, I was dragged from under the bed as I screamed at the top of my lungs & threw onto the bed. I hopped up off the bed quick & ran far around the house & locked myself into a bathroom. Most of the bathroom doors were closed so I don't think he would notice. I turned off the light & sat on da sink as tears rolled down & look around. I gotta get out of here.. I heard his footsteps. I hopped off the sink & paced back & forth. Please God, what did I do to deserve this? Please let me make it out alive. Please. Just save me. I looked around. No windows. I wiped my face & looked up. A vent.. I stood on the sink. Shit. Screws. How.. I looked at my nails & stuck them into the hole & unscrewed them. The doorknob began to rattle. I started to panick & took the vent off & climbed into the air vent as the door opened. He grabbed onto my leg & began to pull. I screamed out as pain shot thru my leg. I yanked my leg away from him & crawled away fast. Next thing I know, I fell thru the ceiling. It felt like I was falling.. Forever. Like this was the end. You know how they say your life will flash b4 your eyes? Well.. I was having dat flash. And when I landed.. Pain shot through my body. I screamed out in pain. It was so unbearable. He stood over me.. Grabbing a handful of my hair & dragging me back into the room. Everything went blurry. & right b4 I blacked out/passed out, I heard the door bust open & people run in.

Trey.

I ran in the house, looking for her. The guy walked out. He had blood on him. Anger shot through me. And. All I saw was red. I blacked out.. All I know is, Dre was pulling me away from him..

I ran thru the house looking for naja. Me & Minnie. I ran into the bed room & screamed. We ran to her. Tears rushed down my face fast. I held her head & shaked her.

"Plz. Naja plz wake up. Minnie call 911!" I said panicking. She got up quick & called 911, then ran out the room & told Dre, & Trey. Moments later they ran back into the room. He knelt by naja.

"Bae.." He said.

But what they didn't see was Stony, yes, it was Stony, Naja's ex, that Dre beat up in the beginning, limping back to the room. With a gun in his hand. They were so focused on Naja. His gun raised slowly. He stood oh so big & bold.. And.. Just in case you are wondering.. The trigger WAS pulled.
