"I like you."

 Who knew these three words would change her life completely...

Jhene was the outsider an the girl who was always lonely at school, but she wasn't completely alone. She had her best friend, Stephen. The high school heart throb and the best basketball player in their school. They had been there for each other through the roughest times in their lives. They couldn't be separated, they were stuck together like glue. 

Everything for them was going well until, Jhene started to fall for Stephen. Her world turned upside down. She had so many different emotions couldn't explain and she didn't have anyone to go to. This drove her mad. Jhene couldn't take it anymore so at the last day of school, she confessed. 

"I like you." Jhene said as she put her head down, trying not to make eye contact. Steph was speechless, his best friend just told him that she likes him and he had no idea what to do. 

"I don't know what to say" Stephen said tightly hugging his teary-eyed best friend.

"You don't have to answer me right away," Jhene's tears began to fall, "I just don't want this to ruin our friendship.

He looked down at her and wiped away her tears.

"It won't"
