-Selena's POV-
"I hate it. I hate it. I hate it." I complained to my mom as we stood right out front our new house.
"What's so bad about it, I think it looks nice!" My mom chirped as she got the last of her bags to bring inside the house.
"Nice? What make's it so great?" I spat at her, fed up already.
"Come on Sel, just give it a chance." My little sister Bella suggested.
I shrugged. "I suppose, but I can't promise I'll like it."
"That's the spirit!" My mom cheered while walking through the front door.
"Selena, Bella, nice to see you two again." My step-dad George greeted us at the doorway.
"Nice to see you too." I responded softly, trying not to start conversation with him. "Now that all my boxes are upstairs now, I'm going to go unpack in my room."
"You mean our room?" Bella corrected me.
"Wait, what?!" I almost yelled.
My mom wrapped an arm around me. "Did I not tell you? We're a little short on rooms, therefore you're sharing one with Bella. That won't be a problem right?"
"Of course not..." I lied. I knew this was going to be a living night mare, no offense to her.
I walked into our extremely small room which was filled with boxes.
"Not bad." Bella pointed out behind me, surprisingly okay with the space.
"Not bad? It's horrible. We barely have room to breathe."
"You do have a point there, but don't worry, we'll find space for everything."
"True...the desk could go on top of the bed." I joked.
Bella let out a small laugh. "At least mom is really happy. George is really nice!"
"Mom is delusional. George being nice does not make up for his three annoying children, especially the oldest." As I finished what I was saying, I then heard a loud blast of music coming from the room next to mine. "Not again."
I stormed out of my room, making it over to Derek's, the most annoying boy I have ever met. "CAN YOU PLEASE KEEP IT DOWN?" I yelled while banging in his door. "DEREK!"
The door instantly opened revealing Derek with an innocent smile on his face. "Who are you?!"
"I'm the step-sister you always wanted." I gave him an obvious fake grin.
"Really? Because you look like the ugly step-sister from Snow White." He teased me.
I rolled my eyes. "It's Cinderella, maybe you should think before you speak. Or is that too much of a challenge for you? Now could you turn down the music?!"
"Oh well why didn't you say so?" Derek got his remote for the sterio, turning it off. "You know I never had any noise complaints when Remy had that room, before he was forced upstairs to make room for you guys."
"Room? What room?! There is no room in our room!" I protested while leaving back into our closet-like room.
"Awwww sure there is!" He followed behind me, however changing his mind once he walked in. "No there isn't." He grabbed a small box off my dresser. "You could really get rid of this junk."
"Oh get out." I ordered him as I pushed him out.
He shook his head, smiling while rolling his eyes. "Now is that any way to treat your new brother?"
