Draco x Reader: Playing Games

Draco had become distant lately, you had absolutely no idea why. You and Draco were basically the same person, he loved your personality and company but all of the sudden there was a huge change.

Every time you asked him to do things with you it was always the same excuse. Of course you would be stupid not to suspect Pansy having something to do with this- she wasn't ever a friend to you. Daphne Greengrass was a far better friend.

One night you had been studying with Daphne, it was getting late but you had to go to the common room to pick up some books you had left there.
"I've left some books down the common room, I'll be right back" you said, getting up from your fancy leather chair. Daphne nodded, and you shut the door behind you.
You walked down the stairs, it was quite a cold evening. The dungeons made everything worse, sometimes there was leakage too (gross).
As you turned the corner, you could hear movements. But suspected it as being a student.

You got to the door frame, and across from you, your boyfriend of nearly a year or so had Pansy pinned down on the leather couch. They were frantically getting their clothes off, engulfing eachother with kisses.
You were a true Slytherin, you're feelings were rarely hurt and it was almost like you didn't have any. Daphne always said you were "cold hearted".

"Ahem" you said, interrupting their intimacy.
Draco shot up from the couch, looking at your blank expression. "(Y/N) I- I can explain" he said, trembling at his words.

"You seem to be enjoying my boyfriend there pans- or shall I say ex boyfriend" you smirked, underneath your calm exterior. You were full of rage, you wanted to murder the both of them but you were extremely good at hiding your feelings.

"No, no. Please, (Y/N). Don't do this I can explain honestly" Draco stammered, breathlessly.

"Save it Draco, do you really think I care? I suspected this would happen. Don't ever talk to me again, and if you approach me I will hurt you" you said through gritted teeth. You had a glint of hurt in your eyes, Draco knew that. But you "didn't care". It was very late.

After that incident, Draco distanced himself from Pansy. He felt so sick thinking about you, and what he'd done. Of course that night you had told Daphne and she couldn't believe how cold you had reacted to the situation.
A few weeks down the line Daphne had introduced you to Blaise. You guys knew of each other and for sixth year had advanced potions together, you loved his wit and charm. He was a good person to be around, the more you hung out the closer you had gotten.

"Draco's staring again" said Daphne, quietly as she looked down the table at Draco and his crew.
"Daph, why do you care? I couldn't care less about him" you replied, going back to whatever you were eating.

"He's acting rather... Strange lately" commented Blaise, as he took a sip out of his goblet.
"Blaise I don't care" you snapped. You honestly didn't, you just got fed up of hearing his name all the time.

"Daphne did you take advanced potions?" Asked Blaise.
"No, I'm awful at it. Besides, I wanted to take transfiguration again." She replied before biting into her chicken.

Professor Slughorn was a very interesting professor, you had been used to being taught by Snape since first year.
Blaise and you decided to partner up, Pansy had also taken it. I have no idea why- she wasn't even good at it. Cormac Mclaggen sat in the far corner, he was the arrogant sort of Gryffindor who pushed himself into any girl that looked at him.
There was Hermione Granger and Lavender Brown. Granger you didn't talk to at all and you despised Lavender, she was so irritating.

"(L/N) and Zabini, I've heard great things about both of you" Slughorn said, as he placed out the ingredients for amortentia.

You smiled in pride, and Blaise smirked. Maybe you could be the best potions partners at Hogwarts?
"Amortentia is one of the most powerful potions in the world" said Slughorn as he poured the contents into a glass bottle.
