Riley POV
Riley notices Josh and the girl sitting at a table.
"Hey peaches."she turns Maya around to face her. "We really have to go." She begs.
"Why we just got here?"Maya raises her brows.
"Because if you turn around there's something you don't want to see and I don't want you to be hurt."Riley admits.
Maya's POV
"Well if you know me then you know that no matter what you say I'm still gonna do the opposite."Maya then turns around and frowns.
Maya watches as Josh and that college girl are gazing into each other's eyes.
Her stomach turns at the sight of her crush liking another girl.
"Peaches lets go." Riley grabs Maya hand and leads her out of the diner.
JOSH POV
Claire smiles, eyes sparkling as she talks about college with so much passion.
It makes Joshua look forward to going.
"So who was that blonde girl?" She snaps him out of his thoughts.
"What do you mean?"Josh looks around confused.
"She's gone. But she was standing there with a girl with brown hair. She looked kind of sad that you were here." She points out.
Josh realized who she was talking about and sighs. "Must be Maya."
"Jealous girlfriend or ex?" She teases as she fills out papers.
"Neither. She's my nieces best friend. She's three years younger might I add. She thinks there's a chance but I gotta keep reminding the kid that I'm not interested."
"Aw that's cute. You should be flattered."She points out.
"I guess. So are you ready to go?" He stretches.
"Yeah. Thanks for the dinner." She smiles.
They exit and go to the train station.
I start school soon which sucks but that won't stop be from slowly updating. Thanks for reading this chapter.
