An hour later Riley,Maya and Josh get home.
"Goodnight girls."He throws his jacket on the couch and goes to the guest room.
Maya sighs as her and Riley go into the room.
Josh walks out and runs back to the living room to take his jacket to the room before Topanga yells at him for making a mess.
He stops when he hears Riley's voice and he can't help but listen to the conversation.
"Peaches what's wrong?" Riley sits next to Maya on the bed.
"Josh said that he doesn't see me in that way. I mean I know he can't because of the age difference but I thought-
"You thought you had a chance?"Riley interrupts.
"Yeah..lets just forget about it."Maya sighs.
Josh looks down feeling bad.
"How about I go get us some ice cream from the kitchen and you set up a movie of your choosing." Riley gets up and hands Maya the remote.
Riley opens the door and sees Josh. Josh's eyes widen and he jumps up.
Riley closes the door and glares at him.
"We're you just eavesdropping?" She asks shocked.
"Uhhhh no."he scratches the back of his neck nervously.
"You're a horrible liar." She crosses her arms.
"Okay, yeah I was but I was just worried."He admits.
"Why? Because you broke her heart?"
"Riley you do understand that I'm one of those fairy tale guys in Mayas eyes? She's always had googily eyes since she was so young, I don't believe it's a real kind of thing."
"If Maya wasn't three years younger would there be a chance?"
"That's not the point. Nothing is going to happen between Maya and I. Look I've had a long day and I'm in need for some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow."He gives her a hug and then goes into his room.
"He did not confirm nor deny."She shrugs and goes to the kitchen.
