This is a new update for you all! I hope you enjoy my update! And thank you to everyone who still reads my stuff! It is amazing that you put up with my randomness of when I will write something and my random updates!

"YOU'RE BATMAN!" the little boy screamed. Bruce sighed as he knelt down to Richard's level.

"Yes I am," Bruce answered back. "You were going to find out sooner or later. I guess it was a matter of time."

"OH MY GOD!" Dick yelled in excitement. "Don't worry! I'll keep it a secret! Oh my god! A secret! I've never knew something like this was possible!"

"I'm glad you realize it's a secret Dick. There are only a few that know about this, and it is very important that you don't tell anyone. I'll inform you if someone already knows but you cannot tell anyone about this," Bruce said. Dick nodded his head seriously. "Good. I am sure you have questions," he added. Dick paused and looked at him.

"You are looking for Zucco aren't you?" Dick asked. "So he doesn't get away with it like your parent's killer did," Bruce looked at the boy stunned at how quick he put it together. He rarely saw the kid, and didn't discuss it much with him. Then the answer came to his mind. Alfred.

"You are right, I am looking Zucco and now I am going to get the people that hurt you at the orphanage," Bruce explained. Dick tilted his head.

"Zucco's mine," he answered back simply. "As for the orphanage, I don't want anyone else to go though what I went though…"

"No one will. I need you to tell me what happened there so we can take them to court. As for Zucco, no that is too dangerous. I refuse to let you take part," Bruce said pulling off his cape and handing it to Alfred. Dick didn't look impressed at the idea, however he nodded. Placing a hand on Dick's shoulder he stood up and walked to the batcomputer ruffling the kid's hair on the way.

"Hey!" Dick said. Bruce laughed a bit.

"Come on, why don't I show you how the computer works and we can talk about the orphanage."

The leads on Zucco where getting thinner; however, the orphanage case was a slam-dunk. Having a few of the best lawyers on retainer had its' advantages. The orphanage was now having a change of regime, and Wayne Enterprise was funding it to better help the children. With that taken care of Bruce could focus on other things, like Zucco.

Alfred came down to the Batcave with a tray with coffee and food. Greedily grabbing the coffee Bruce almost swallowed it one gulp. Only to stop at Alfred's unimpressed look.

"You could stand to better care for yourself sir," Alfred said. "Living on coffee doesn't improve anything," he added.

"I am so close Alfred!" Bruce hissed looking at the file again. "Zucco is laying low, and I know it!"

"What about Master Dick?" Alfred asked. "He has been asking for you," he added. Bruce sighed and looked at the time reading 3 o'clock in the morning. Realizing he had been up for the last 72 hours and this wasn't helping maybe checking in on Dick upstairs wouldn't be a bad thing. Wait, Dick would be asleep, so maybe he could sleep. Gotham's nutcases where all in Arkham, he hoped, therefore the city could be left to the police for a night. Besides if anything happened he would be alerted.

"I'll eat breakfast with you guys in the morning. I'll cancel my morning interview with Clark, he'll understand… And I'll try and make it to dinner, " Bruce offered, feeling a bit bad at his lack of presence in the boy's life. "I'll go upstairs and leave Gotham to police," he sighed in defeat.

"Very well sir, I'll make the calls when the sun is up sir," Alfred offered. Bruce just nodded and made his way upstairs. Sighing as he passed Dick's room he paused. First there was a whimper and then a scream. Panic flooded Bruce's mind and he pushed the door open. Dick was thrashing in his bed screaming.
