Chapter 4

They were just getting louder and more obnoxious. Ugh. You turned your music up louder.

  No more attempts to make you see, I tried, he succeeded, oh well

But what I can say to a girl who'd play with a noose of excuses until

Her big wicked grin disappears in the smoke, and crack goes the rope pulled true

I know enough about doubt, and hating myself, to tell that you now know it too.

And I used to blame myself , then I blamed everybody else.

But never you.

Cause you were just a messed up kid,

Who'd step in it, get scared and sit.

And pray for goats and gods who'd know what to forbid.

And when you would reach out,

Well, I'd run my big mean mouth

and make it worse.

You started to sing along.

And maybe I deserve that hurt.

Destruction of my universe.

So if you gotta to beat someone up,

Don't make it her.

You started to drift off, singing very lightly to the song.

God, it was oddly depressing and comforting.

You wandered around the school. 

Room 13.

Room 14. 

Room 15.

So it leads on.

You got snapped back to reality as the bell rung for lunch to start. Great. You limped through the hallways to your locker, shoved it open, got your lunch, and dragged yourself to the lunchroom. Looking around, you saw Karkat, Aradia, Nepeta, and Sollux all conversing at a table. They were your friends last year, so it should be fine if you sat with them.

You sat down across from Aradia, which was also the space next to Karkat.

"Hey guys." You said.

"Oh, hii (Y/N)." Sollux greeted.

"Hell0 (Y/N)." Aradia  reputed.

"HI." said Karkat cantankerously.

":33<ac says Hi!" Nepeta bounced.

"So... um... how was your summer?"

"Miine wa2 good ii gue22."

"Expl0ring."

"AVOIDING KANKRI'S LECTURES AND WATCHING ROMCOMS."

":33 < ac says roleplaying! What about mew?"

"Nothing much. Just sat in bed watching Dexter on Netflix and some animes."

":33 < ac knows! How about we hang out later with a couple of other people and watch some movies?"

"0h, h0w ab0ut everyb0dy brings 0ne?"

You grinned.

"2hould each person briing a diifferent genre?"

"That's actually a good idea."

"YOU GUYS ALREADY KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO BRING."

You nodded. Romcoms.

"Hmm. (Y/N) d0 y0u want to bring h0rr0r with me?"

"Yup. Have A LOT of those."

"Okay then, ii'll briing-"

You were interrupted by 5 other people sitting down. You saw their figures and smiled. It was John, Jade, Rose, Dave, and Kanaya.

"Hi!" John said first.

"Hii." Sollux blandly replied.

Karkat growled.

Aradia spoke up. "We were thinking 0f having a m0vie night t0night. D0 any 0f y0u want t0 c0me and bring m0vies? (Y/N) and I are bringing h0rr0r. Karkat is bringing r0mantic c0medies."

"Sure." John replied. "Why Not?" Said Jade. "Cool." Dave said. Rose and Kanaya just simply nodded.

"WELL, JADE AND DAVE HAVE THE MOST ACTION, EXCEPT MOST OF THAT DAVE'S IS ANIME ACTION."

"Okay, well that's fine, but Dave; Do you have anything that's not a action anime? Like Spirited Away?"

"Yeah. Bro has a bunch of Studio Ghibli.  He'll let me borrow a few movies."

"Okay, 2o Jade, briing actiion, Dave, briing aniime."

"Karkat, might I also bring a few romance?" Rose spoke up.

"SURE, WHATEVER."

"I'll bring Con Air!" John said.

"John, No."

"I Think That It Is Appropriate For Him To Bring Such Movie." Said Kanaya.

"Fine." Everyone agreed.

"YES!" John pumped his fist in the air.

"As For Me, I Can Bring A Fashion Movie." Kanaya added.

"Let2 recap then, siince that2 everyone." Sollux Said.

"Okay. John is bringing Con Air, Jade is bringing a action movie, Dave is bringing anime, Rose and Karkat are doing Romantic, Kanaya is bringing fashion, Aradia and I are bringing horror-" you got cut off.

"WAIT. WHAT IS THE HONEYFUCKER AND NEPETA BRINGING THEN?" Karkat questioned.

":3<ac says she'll bring fighting!"

"ii'll briing comedy, ii gue22."

"Wh0's h0use is it at?"

"We can have it at mine. How about at 5:00?" you volunteered.

":3< ac says okay!"

"Then it's settled. We'll have it my house at 5:00. If you guys don't have my address, then it's (Address). If you forget, just pester me! Rose, can you give Kanaya my pesterchum?" You rambled.

"Sure thing." Rose laughed.

"See you guys around!" You grinned as lunch ended. It was going to be awesome.
