-Xander's Point of View-
Crimson lips were placed against mine and I pulled her close to me. She felt like fire on my fingertips and her touch felt like I was running my body against the flames. Scalding hot, bodies colliding, and I knew how much the both of us wanted this.
"Xander," Scarlette gasped in my ear and I placed my lips against her's to silence her.
"Shh. You don't want my family to hear us, darling," I whispered my body colliding with her's. My thrusts were slowly growing sloppy as I felt myself growing closer and closer to my edge. I had no idea how close she was, but it didn't matter.
"X-Xander... Faster," she groaned, her eyes falling shut and she let out a high moan of pleasure. She clawed at my bare back and I knew that I was doing something right if I was getting this reaction out of the crimson haired female.
I heard a hard knock at the door and someone call out my name, but I didn't care. I was having my alone time with Scarlette and if anyone interuppted that, oh, I was not going to be happy. She was the one that I needed right now. No one else was good enough.
Her eyes watched me carefully and I hit my edge with a small cry of surprise as my entire body convulsed. I noticed she did the same as her green eyes fluttered shut and a cry escaped her lips like that of a prostitute that had been sent before a precious lover.
I collasped on the matress next to her and she snuggled up close to me, her red hair tickling my nose. I kissed her forhead and I heard the knock once again as my voice was called. I rolled my eyes and pulled the blanket over me and the princess before yelling, "Come in."
I really wasn't in the mood to talk to someone. Basically, all I wanted to do was lay here and cuddle with Scarlette until the two of us slipped off into our own dreamless slumbers. I was a peace beside her and she was the only one that I ever needed.
My mother stepped into the room with light steps and when her eyes laid upon Scarlette and I, they weren't even filled with shock. A smile just spread across her lips and she stepped across the room before laying a red gown on the end of the bed and looking at the princess that was laying beside me. "This was just sent up here for you, darling," she said softly before looking at me, "Xander, the dance is this weekend. I hope you get your uniform and everything else set by this weekend," her voice held more authority when she spoke with me and I nodded my head, listening as she walked out of the room.
Scarlette buried her face into my neck and kissed it gently.
"I hope I'm your choice this weekend."

I hung on to Scarlette. She was the one I needed now that Vladmir had stabbed in in the back by allowing himself to threaten Scarlette and claiming to love me.
I was numb. I didn't know what to think because it was all so crazy. One minute, I was in love with Vlad and the next, Scarlette was the only one I could think about. My heart called for Vlad though, as strange as it sounds.
It was wrong. I still loved the prince who betrayed me. The one who kissed and threatened Scarlette. The one who I thought loved me.
No, that's wrong. Men aren't meant to love men. Love doesn't work in that favor. Love like that is glass, cracking slowly until it shatters into multiple pieces, fragments. If touched, they'd draw blood from the holder.
"Xander?" Thames asked as he approached me. I sat next to the fountain, my fingers skimming the top of the crystal clear water. I watched the fish swim and dark at the ripples, enjoying themselves like small children after a rainstorm.
