Part 4: A visit to the Morgue and a day of matchmaking

"John, could you bring me some breakfast?"

"It's 3 a.m, Sherlock"

"No, I meant when you're coming over to the Morgue"

"But I don't kno-!"

"I want it warm by the time I eat it. Goodnight!"

A groan escaped his lips as he threw his phone next to him. Sherlock wanted him to bring him some breakfast. Weird, but to John's mind, he was asking him for the breakfast that he cooks.

He shuts his eyes and decided that it's a problem for another time.

"John, why do you keep walking back and forth?" Lilian asked, watching him from the corner of her eyes as her fingers were busy braiding her hair in front of the mirror.

"I don't know what to cook for breakfast"

"What suddenly inspired you to be in the kitchen today?"

"Sherlock asked me to bring him breakfast!"

Just as those words fell out of his mouth, Lilian automatically smirked. Her uncle had decided to go to the Morgue last night and she knew he would ask John to come over with his excuses. Breakfast is one of them.

"Come on, John. I'll help you prepare the breakfast for our royal highness" she said finishing her braid.

At the Morgue, Sherlock was analyzing the dirt from a shoe. His stomach growled, making a very loud sound that even Molly could hear it.

"You hungry? I could go and buy some breakfast, if you want?" She offered, sorting the paperwork in her hands. Yes, she cared about Sherlock, and maybe had a little bit crush on him, but even she could notice the attraction between him and John.

"Oh, it's fine. John is bringing it for me" he said, dismissing her with his hand. In his heart, he could only hope that John would come faster.

"John, hurry up! You'll burn the chicken!" She giggled. "Are you away with the fairies?"

"It's not my fault your cookies smelled like heaven!" He joked while putting another piece of chicken into the hot oil after taking out the cooked one. Meanwhile, Lilian was mixing the boiled eggs and mayonnaise to make some egg sandwiches for herself.

"Now, could you spread this on the breads, John. I'm going to take out the cookies"

"My dearest uncle!! We brought you breakfast!" Lilian yelled as she barges into the lab. A sweet and delicious smell greeted Molly and Sherlock's noses.

"Hey, Lilly! I haven't see you in donkey's ears!" Molly hugged her. It seems that Lilian is no stranger to her.

"Where's John?" Sherlock immediately asked as his eyes found no clue of his 'friend'.

"Relax. I know you miss him, but he's in the pantry" she winked, enjoying the moment where she get to tease Sherlock. "Speaking about him, you did not ask him to cook your breakfast, did you?"

"No" he shook his head. "What took you guys so long anyways?" He asked, following behind her petite figure.

Lilian rolled her eyes at his question, clearly thinking that it's a very stupid question and lifted her right hand. Both Molly and Sherlock's eyes immediately focused on the slightly crumpled brown paper bag in her grab.
