Just a little bit longer.
I keep chanting to myself despite my shaking body and hotness I feel. I can easily predict that I have been here for few hours now. Soaked and cold. I feel so lightheaded.
"Hey, what are you doing there?" I heard a woman speak. I lift my heavy head but soon the world is spinning. I grab the edge of the park bench and I heard that woman is rushing towards me, dropping whatever she carried. The next thing I know, I'm already in her arms, preventing my head to meet the floor first. She shook me a bit which make the world spin more and make me throw up everything I had this morning. And soon after, the blackness surrounds me.

"Helen, honey. Wake up. Until when are you planning to sleep?"
I heard my mom's soft voice. I open my eyes. Looking around and see that I'm in my room. Lying on bed and my mom is standing beside the bed, smiling at me. Is it a dream? Gosh! that was a terrible dream."Mom! You're here! Guess what? I had a strange dream. In my dream I saw you and me walking for a very loooong time. And you said that...." Suddenly she turn and start to walk away. Where is she going?
"Mom? MOM? MOM! Where are you going? Wait for me" I called here as I jump down the bed and run to her. Just another step I can hold her but I tripped and fall on my face. Something attached to my legs. I look down and see... chain? CHAIN? Why am I chained? I look back up to my mom who look at me without expression. I look around me and my house is gone. Now, everything is just black. Panic, I scream and plead to mom, "Mom, help me." Her eyes looks sad and there's tear there. She turn away and start walking away from me. I called her, louder and louder but she doesn't even turn her head. She disappear into darkness. "Mom! MOM!" I scream on top of my lungs. Then I feel sucked into a deep hole.

I feel my body lying and I tried to open my eyes.White.
Too bright. I closed them right away. There's a constant beeping sound next to my head. It starts as a faint sound and gets louder and louder. I have to stop it before I'm going insane. I try to open my eyes once again. Once, twice. I try to look around. It's not my room. Where am I? Hospital? My eyes are so heavy. I close and open them again. I hear the door open. I turn my head slowly and see a young woman walk in. When she saw me, her eyes lit up and a smile of relieve form on her face. "You're awake," was all she said and she walk towards me then press a button above my bed. Soon a nurse come in. "Nora, please call doctor Greene. Tell him, the girl is awake."
The nurse nod and walk out quickly. The woman turn her head back to me. "You're Hanna, right? I'm Janet. Everything is going to be alright, okay?"
Who is she? Why does she know my name? Too tired to ask, I just nod and stare at her for a moment. She's a beautiful petite young woman, with bob blonde hair and blue eyes. The door rattle open and a handsome young man come in whom I guess as doctor Greene. He's wearing a blue shirt with white coat on top. "Ryan! She's awake!" Janet runs towards him.
"I can see that, Janet," he said while smiling at her. "Now, let me examine her, okay?"
He walk towards me and I flinch and slide a bit. Moving my body away from him. Afraid that he'll hit me like my dad always did to me. He raise his eyebrows a bit but still smiling. "It's okay. I'll just make sure you're fine. Will you allow me?"I shake my head which gives me a headache. I scrunch my nose a bit until the pain subside. Doctor Greene look at me patiently and said," I won't hurt you. Just for a moment to make sure you're not sick anywhere. Okay?" I hesitate a bit and nod. He approach me slowly and start to examine me. I tense a bit when he touch me. "How do you feel, Hanna?" he asked.
I try to open my mouth and answer him. No sound is coming out. I can't answer. My mouth feel dry, I need water. My throat is hurt. Doctor Greene tells Janet to gives me some water and she gives me a glass with straw ,"Small sips, Helen."
I drink slowly. Water starts to flow down my throat and it hurts. I wince a bit. But after a few sip, the water feels refreshing and addicting. I never thought that water can be this satisfying. After I'm done, Janet take the glass and doctor Greene continue to examine me. He asked a few question which I answer with just a nod or shake my head or sometimes a few word. "She's okay, Janet. She just have inflammation in her throat and her fever hasn't go down completely. I'll prescribe her with some antibiotics and we'll see her condition tomorrow." Janet nod and I feel myself sleepy again. Janet adjust my pillow and try to make me feel comfortable. I snuggle in the blanket and close my eyes. After a moment, I hear doctor Greene speak,"Janet. We should talk about this."
There's a silent. "Yeah. We should. Poor girl," she said. Then I heard her getting up and walk out of the room with doctor Greene. I feel myself drift to sleep.

I'm walking into a park. Mom is standing there, near the bench park,"Mom?"
"Helen, why don't you wait for me?"
"I'm sorry, mom. I don't know how I leave this place."
"You should've wait," she said sadly.
"I'm sorry, mom. I-," I look up but see my mom is not there anymore. "Mom? Mom!" I run around to find her but she's not there.

I jerk awake. Panting and sweating. I look around my dark room. I have to go back to the park. Mom will be looking for me. I pull out the IV forcefully. A sharp pain emerge from my hand. I hiss but ignore it. Blood streaming down my arms and drip to the bed and floor. I get up, stumble a bit and start running out of my hospital room to the street. Where should I go?
The rain is pouring hard outside. I run, don't care about my soaked clothes. After a while, I still force my leg to run and keep running. My lungs ache from lack of oxygen, my legs hurts, my body feel hot, and my head starts to spin again. I pant hard and black spots appear in my eyes. Slowly the spots getting bigger and enveloping all my view. The last things I remember are my body slamming on the ground and my mom is waiting for me to come back to her and finally darkness surrounds me.
