Remember when we raged against the world,
knowing nothing but our tongue-tied desires?Remember how you now pass me by,
as if I was just a specter in your mind?Remember how you left me rain-drenched,
raging, with dagger eyes and a rotting heart?Remember when you cast me into Hell,
letting the demons claw at my burned flesh?Remember when you stood in silence,
as I trudged naked through leering hordes?Remember when you can only watch in terror,
as I fell into the fire, clutching my greatest foe?Remember when you screamed my name,
a sound that I so desperately wanted to hear all this time?Remember...remember that I live. I will rise.
I will become the darkness in your mind.(S.M.)
