Bandit
It was nice sleeping in my own bed again, unless you have twenty people down stairs eating breakfast.
"There you are Bandit! We were all just leaving." Dye Hard said.
"But I didn't eat?!" I exclaimed.
"There's gonna be more dracs next time, we all are ditching this house." Missile kid said. "Also, I'm coming with you guys." I looked over and saw Ferrett and Jess talking. I looked out the window and saw Liner sitting at Fun Ghoul's grave. I hope I don't lose my dad like that. She stood up and started walking towards the house.
When she got to the door I noticed she had goggles with a grey band on them.
"Nice goggles, Liner." I said.
"Thanks, are we ready to go?" The parents looked up at her, then looked at their kids. They ran over and hugged us, we wouldn't be seeing each other for a long time. When we went out the door, Jess and Liner headed to their bikes, while Ferrett, Missile Kid, Dye Hard and I went over to the car.
"I remember this old thing, does it still have the missile launcher?" Missile Kid asked. Dye Hard showed it to her in the back seat.
"You two ready to go?" I said into the radio.
"Yeah, where are we going?" Jess said.
"Korse is relentless, killjoys are dropping like flies." Liner said next.
"We're going to Battery City." Missile Kid said.
"We are? Why?" Ferrett asked.
"I lost something there." She responded.
"We're going to Battery City!" I said into the radio. We took off with Liner and Jess behind us.
"Liner wanna race?"
"Where too?"
"See that tree?"
"Let's go!" The girls took off from behind us. Liner kept going before she told us what was going on. "
My brakes are shot! What do I do!" She was freaking out.
"Just jump off and let it go!" Ferrett
"Okay." She grabbed her helmet and jumped off of her bike into the sand.
"Are our brakes okay?" Dye Hard asked.
"Yeah, ours are good. We got to pick her up, is there room in the back?"
"Yeah, we got room!" Missile Kid yelled from the roof.
"Thanks! Where's Jess?" Liner said running up to the car.
"I'm right here." She said pulling up.
"You heard the radio right?" Ferrett said.
"Yeah, I know how to fix it. But not here, I'll fix it once we get to Battery City. For now strap it to the roof." We hopped out of the car. While we were putting her bike on the roof our families cars drove by. Some cheered, others stayed quiet. Once we were about to head off again, a motorcycle came up to us. They hopped off and pulled off their helmet.
"Mind if I ride with you guys, your killjoys right?" He said.
"Yeah, that's cool." I said in response, "What's your name?"
"Roadie, what's your guys'?" Roadie said.
"I'm Bandit."
"Rebel Ferrett, the one and only."
"Call me Dye Hard."
"Joy Jess, I swear to god if you call me Joy I will slit your throat."
"The names Bi-Liner."
"Lastly, I'm Missile Kid." His mouth dropped after we said all out names.
"You guys are the killjoys! The kids of the original killjoys! Your dad's Party Poison! And yours is Kobra Kid! And You're dad is Jet Star! And Fun Ghoul! And then your the one who escaped! And then Missile Kid, wow!" We nodded and smiled.
"Get on your bike Roadie! We are headed to Battery City." Jess called out to him.
"Hey, one of you guys can ride with me?" He looked over at Bi-Liner.
"Sure," she shrugged, "I'll ride with you." He got onto his bike and she sat down behind him.
"What's the radio station again?!" She yelled over the three engines.
"Nineteen!" Ferrett yelled back. She thumbed up and then they sped off. Jess saluted and rode after them.
"Looks like someone has a crush on Liner." We all started laughing and then road on behind them.
Mmmm, love.
So long
-Bi-Liner
