Chapter Eight

Rebel Ferrett

"Dye Hard? Dye Hard wake up?!" I whispered. She was having a nightmare again.

"I'm up, what happened?" She asked, sounding dazed.

"You were screaming, I didn't want you to
wake anyone else up," She looked out the windshield and so did I, "Is that?"

"Yeah, what is she still doing up? Shouldn't it be Roadie's turn?" Jess was sitting beside her bike with her hand on her gun.

"Wait, draculoids. She's hiding from them. They aren't going to bother us this early, but if they see any one of us awake, they'll take us." We were still watching her when she moved to stand up.

"What is she doing?!" Dye Hard took out her gun and I followed.

"There aren't many, she could probably take them, but we should help." We both reached our hands out the window and shot as soon as she did. There were about ten to kill, and with the three of us shooting it didn't take long.

I grabbed the radio, "Don't do that again Jess! Go check the back of the truck, there could be more killjoys."

"Yes sir!" She saluted me and walked out from behind her bike. Dye hard jumped out of the car and went to stand behind her. They opened the doors at the same time and I saw another bike and two more killjoys.

Dye Hard walked over to Jess' bike and picked up her radio, "Ferrett, get out here." I climbed out the window and walked over to them. There was a boy and a girl.

"What are your names?" I asked the pair.

"Glitter Madness." She had a sky blue gun, and a blue bandana in her hair.

"Shy Guy," He had a light pink gun and a pink bandana wrapped around his neck, "We are twins."

"I'm Rebel Ferrett, this is my girlfriend Dye Hard, and our friend Joy Jess. The others are sleeping, Bi-Liner was recently captured." There mouths dropped. Was this going to be everyone's reaction?!

"Either of you want to help me fix a motor cycle?" Jess asked looking at Shy Guy.

"Not me, but Madness can help." He said pushing his sister in front of him.

"Yeah, I'll help." She agreed and started walking to the car with Jess.

"So, how did you guys get caught?"

"Madness wanted to save her hero, so she stormed into Battery City, because we are so young, they were taking us to dump into the dessert."

"Bi-Liner is her hero? Wow, I never thought I'd hear that." Dye Hard and him both laughed.

"Um, guys? We need another car..." Dye Hard said.

"Me and Madness usually sleep on the ground, so don't worry about us." Shy Guy responded.

"I'm tired of having to call for where people are going to sleep, it was so much simpler with four people, now we have nine. Five new people in three days!" Jess said.

"Shh, or you'll wake them up," Dye Hard said, "I'm going back to bed."

"I'm with her." I took her hand and we walked to the car.

God, nine people. It's like I've started a motorcycle gang!
