Untitled Part 35

(New chapter. My uploading schedule is gonna be a little weird so bear with me please XD also we're pretending School of Rock starts in February 2017) So I have an audition today. It's pretty big for me as I have been in Billy for over a year now. I at least wanna get my two years in and then I'll leave. I decided to audition for School of Rock. Why not? I can play the ukelele, the bass, the clarinet, and the drums. Though I never really get to as I've been super busy with Billy and Matilda for the last few years. I don't have a show today either so I'm free. Nathan, Joshua, and Joshy decide to audition with me as Nathan can play the drums, Joshy can play guitar, and Joshua wants to be Mason.  We decide to go to an open audition. We get there and we're number 120 and up... We have no chance. I see all these kids that are amazing and I look down at my bass. No way am I getting in. We are there for like two hours before they finally call us in. We sit there with a bunch of kids I don't recognize since it's an open audition and anyone can come. When it's finally my turn I go up to the stage. "Hi, my name is Olivia Callahan I'm 13 years old and I've prepared a song called 'Come Together' by the Beatles." I start to play it on my bass while singing. I don't look directly at the directors though, I look at my sheet music. When I finish the directors just say "Thank you." And I walk back. After we get back out and wait for any news of callbacks everyone keeps coming up to me saying I did well. They also recognize us. When the directors come out we all freeze. "We would like these kids to come with us." They call out a bunch of numbers. "120, 121, 122, 123." That's us three! We go into the room. "Okay we will be splitting you guys up into groups of what we call potentials. You guys all have different strengths and if you are in more than one potentials group that's a good sign." We all nod. I am put into potential Katie, Summer, and Marcy. I hope that's a good thing. After that a lot of kids get sent away. I always feel bad when that happens. I am now only in potential Summer and Katie groups. I see Nathan in potential Freddy's and Joshua in potential Masons and Joshy is in potential Zach's and James. We do even MORE ten the directors ask to talk to me... Oh shoot. "Hey, so you have lots of acting and musical experience that we think would make you a good Katie or Summer. Do you have a preference? If not we could potentially give you both parts if you're up to it as we could have an alternate for you. This is gonna be the first show where we don't have to have 3 kids alternating each part! How cool is that." I think about it. "That's really cool! Also I'm up for both parts." "You would also do public performances as Katie we think." I nod. "So I'm going to be in it?" I ask. They nod. "You're actually not supposed to know until tomorrow but we're telling you today." I grin. I'm actually going to be in the Original West End Cast of School of Rock. And I have two parts! Omigod I cannot believe it. I understand that means I'll have to leave Billy but hopefully I'll be able to stay until my two year anniversary. Once we're supposed to leave they tell us to come back to the theatre tomorrow for our results. They said we can come early as I have a show tomorrow. When we get back to the Billy House they ask us all about it. I say I have no idea what I got but when I get up to my room I tell Connie. "Omigod you're going to be in School of Rock?!" Connie whisper yells. "Yup I literally cannot wait." Then there's a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yell. Brodie walks in and sits down next to me. "I know you know if you got in. I won't tell anyone I swear on my part in Billy. And you know how important Billy is to me." I nod. "Fine I got in." His face lights up. "And what part did you get." "Summer AND Katie." He hugs me really tight. "Congrats! Hey now we can do our last show together maybe?" I'm confused. "What?" "I was planning on leaving in December but didn't want to tell you." "I'll totally leave with you Brods!" I say and he grins. "See you later!" He says. "Bye!!!" I reply. "Well. NOW IM ALONE OLIVIA!" Connie jokes. "Whatever Connie" I say throwing my pillow at her. Then this turns into a full blown out pillow fight. For a while I forget about everything else in the world. (And yeah... I can't wait for School of Rock! Credit to this chapter goes to hazieeee (Who I've talked about before) as she had a chapter about auditioning but not for School of Rock. Anyway hoping I'll be updating again soon! -Elliott (Ellie))
