Victoria was hard to find, even James had difficulty in finding her. It would take the siblings everything they had to find the redhead, it was a pass-time, a game. Without her brother, she went solely based on what she knew of her the girl.
It took her a month to find the cabin in which her the girl was hiding. Erica was more tan certain that she allowed herself to be found.
It was silent as the both sat in the dark. Neither needing to say a word. Erica could only imagine what kind of pain the girl when losing a mate, she assumed it was along the lines of something she was feeling.
"Vicky-" the redhead flinched at the nickname. Erica sighed softly. "Victoria, I've been looking for you."
Victoria barely moved. "It's cold in here, why is it like that."
Breathing in a sharp, unnecessary breath, she turned her eyes towards the wall. "Every since- I can't turn it off. It's just always cold. I guess my heart is finally influencing the world."
Victoria scoffed at the lame attempt at a joke. It felt right to be together again.
"What are we gonna do, Vic?"
"Do? There is nothing eft for me to do."
Erica stood to her feet and crossed the small space to the other vampire.
"You are my sister, the only family I have left. I will be avenging my brother, whether you join me or not," Erica smoothed her hand over her thick hair gently. "We will always be family, until I finally die. My brother wouldn't have wanted us to separate. I'll take care of you Vicky."
Victoria cured into her sister, seeking the comfort she needed. The pain of losing a mate was overpowering, it was all consuming. Her mind often convinced her that it wasn't real. It couldn't be.
It was, and the girls needed each other to stay together, to keep from going insane.

She stalked the house, finding it surprising easy to get close. She was disapproving of how close she was permitted to get. The small human was the only one within the immediate distance and Erica didn't like it. Every part of her existence was pushing her to make them feel her pain and they were making it too easy.
A warning would do the job perfect for now. She loved a good threat.
Climbing the side of the house, she made sure to touch as many things as possible. They needed to know she was here or this would have served no purpose.
It was easy for her to slip in side the window, the latch being unlocked. The sole occupant of the home had not alerted to her presence. Bella had her back to her, the perfect opportunity to attack.
"It's a pity," Erica smirked when the humans heart sped up. She loved to watch the girl squirm in fear. "One would think that the damage my brother caused would have been more extensive."
Bella shuddered as her room grew colder, frost started to cover the surface of the room. Bella noted how Erica let her powers lose, not trying to conceal them in the slightest.
Erica stalked forward slowly, her eyes set on the weak human before her. Her mind would never be able to comprehend why this tiny little human was so important, so protected. As she listened to the heart slamming, she was more than aware of the hunger she felt.
"Wha- Why are you here?" Bella stammered as she attempted to distance herself as much as possible.
"I'm just checking in," Erica ran her hand along Bella's bed sheets. "I wasn't joking when I said we should see each other again. I simply needed to see what the excitement was about."
Bella scowled at the vampire. "You tried to kill me."
Her laugh was a twinkle in the tense room. Bella admired and feared how graceful she was. It was different from the other vampires she knew; Erica was literally a Cold One. She was a species ruled by the winter. Her actions were predatory, yet beautiful. Bella had no doubt that she could be dead any second.
"You will die, but only when the time is right, and not by my hand." Bella flinched as Erica ran her hand through her hair. "It's unfortunate that your little vampire family is too weak to kill you."
"What do you mean?" Bella shivered as she her room grew even colder.
"Hmm, Victoria, my dear. It is her right to kill you." Leaning in, Erica ran her nose along Bella's jugular. "I will assist her, but you are not my prey."
She was away at the other side at the room in a flash, snow fluttering in the breeze she created. She glanced around the room and admired they way it looked when the cold took over.
"tell me Isabella, would your precious mate ever turn you? I doubt he truly intends to." Erica enjoyed teasing the young woman. "I would be willing to turn you, it's just one little bite."
Bella stared on in confusion, a part of her waned to agree, was willing to do anything just to be changed.
"I would change you for a price, it will seem quite small if you are ever truly desperate enough," Erica welcomed the human, persuading her to accept. "Do not make your mind on the matter now, young Bella. I have plans, you will be quite important part in them."
The human rushed forward trying to catch the vampire before she left.
"Wait! Are you serious? How can I contact you, if I need to?"
Erica smirked in triumph at the panic in the human's voice.
"I will be watching, Isabella. I will know when you need me."
She made her way out the window easily, dropping to the ground without a sound. Icy swirls spread from her feet from the force creating beautiful patterns on the ground. Her powers never failed to amaze her.
"Isabella!" Erica called back to the house. The small humans head appeared out the window. "Immortality would become you, it would be a shame to see you die."
