Heartbreak Story [Nathan Sykes Fanfiction]

Chapter Nine.

Nathan's POV;



I heard people shouting my name and I turned around to see my mum and Jess running towards me.


"Nath, is everything ok?" Jess panicked.
"Where's Lucas?" I questioned.
"With dad in the car, now answer my question!" She said.
"Jas." I whispered.
"What about her?" Mum asked.
"She's stopped breathing, the machine started going off and there was a straight line.." I mumbled.


My mum pulled me into a hug and starting rocking me forwards and backwards.


"What if I've lost her, again, mum?" I cried.
"You won't lose her, Nathan. She's a fighter." She smiled.


I went to stand up and Jess looked at me, confused.


"Where's dad parked?" I asked.
"Outside here, in the car park on the left." She smiled.


I walked off and she ran up to me.


"Where are you going?" She asked.
"To see my dad and nephew." I smiled and made my way outside.


I needed to stop thinking so negative, and seeing Lucas and my dad would distract me.


I made my way to the car and opened the door. I sat in the front seat and smiled at my dad.


"How you doing, son?" He smiled weakly.
"I just want everything to be ok." I whispered.


He patted me on the shoulder and I got Lucas out of his car seat, holding him tightly.


"Hey little man!" I smiled.


He giggled and it made me smile so much. He's so cute.


"Do you want to come inside, dad? I'll bring Lucas." I asked.
"Come on then, you need to be inside incase anything happens" he smiled.


I opened the car door and stepped out of it, closing it behind me. I headed back into the hospital and Jess' face lit up.


"Hello baby boy!" Jess grinned as she took Lucas out of my arms.


He grinned and Jess kissed his lips lightly. I never knew how great of a mum she'd be.


"Nathan Sykes?" A voice questioned.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Would you like to follow me?" They replied.


I looked at my mum and she nodded. I followed them and he brought me to Jas' room. I stood there, in shock. Complete and utter shock.
