Chapter6- Smoothie and a ride home please

All I could see was black; I have no idea were I was except thinking I was dreaming. If you ask me whyColtonis the way he is…well it would be hard to explain. The one thing I do know is after we did break up he just wouldn’t let me go.

‘Is she going to be okay?’  I heard someone say from somewhere

‘Hard to say but she just fainted’ I recognized that voice as Desire’s; when am I going to wake up honest to God.

‘Reid are you alright there?’ That was Morgan’s voice you could tell

‘Is Colton gone or is he still over there?’ Reid said

‘Nick took him home’ Desire said.

I finally opened my eyes and seen multiple faces around; Desire, Reid, Morgan, and Rossi

‘What happened?’ I asked them looking at there worried faces

‘You got pushed down byColtonand you hit your head pretty hard, you were bleeding a bit to’ Desire said helping me into a sitting position, seems I was lying on a couch.

‘Were he now?’ I asked looking around for him

‘Nick took him home and I know you weren’t sleeping when we talked about it because your nose was twitching’ she said poking my dimple; yes I have dimples that I don’t really like

‘How you feeling Alynne you okay? Need anything?’ Reid asked me

‘A ride home would be great and a strawberry milkshake’ I said making everyone laugh

‘Those can be arranged I’ll be back with your smoothie’ he said and left with Morgan following him.

Reid POV! J

 

SeeingColtonattack Alynne like that made me sick; she didn’t deserve it nobody does. I’ve never been so mad at someone before like I was at him. I was especially worried about Alynne when I seen the blood my stomach dropped to my knees; I’ve never cared for someone like that before.

When she wanted a smoothie I was glad to get it for her, help her any ways possible that’s what made my day better specially seeing her sing up on stage like that it was amazing. Her singing can draw you into another world in your mind.

I went to the counter and ordered her the smoothie with Morgan right there; it was quiet because he just kept smirking at me

‘Alright say it why are you looking at me like that’ I said turning to him and he just, laughed

‘For a genius you sure are dumb sometimes’ he said shaking his head

‘Dumb about what?’ I said walking back to the couch slowly

‘Reid we know that you like Gideon it’s obvious, haven’t you noticed the way she looks at you’ he said starting on the Alynne subject for the 3rd time

‘How do you feel about her?’ he asked me.

I started thinking about it, the way she smiles her dimples make it more out there, and the way she thinks she always bites on the side of her lip. How her brain worked she’s amazingly smart, thoughtful, caring, and let’s not forgets she’s beautiful

‘You wouldn’t understand Morgan’ I said and made it to the couch which ended the conversation’

Normal POV

 

Reid came back with my smoothie and as quick as it came I finished it. Desire got my purse from the back and we all headed out to our cars. Desire picked me up so I got a ride from Reid since I suggested it.

I got into the front in the passenger seat and Reid in the drivers. It was quiet at first so I decided to make conversation

‘So how did you like the show?’ I asked him as I looked ahead at the road showing him were to turn

‘It was good, you have a great…ugh…voice’ he said but I noticed he was trying to pick his words correctly.

‘Thanks you know it’s great when you work hard on something you love’ I said slightly sarcastic.

I made it to my house and he walked me to my door. I shifted through my purse and found my keys.

‘I guess I’ll see you tomorrow’ I said and noticed he was pretty close to me

‘Alright see you than’ he said but before he could leave I stepped onto my tippy toes and pressed my lips to his cheek, I felt his cheeks get warm which I assumed was a good thing.

I stood back and noticed his face was red, I opened my door and walked in and closed the door locking it as usual.

I went to my room and got out of my heels and clothes, got into my pajamas and went onto my computer.

RPOV

 

She kissed my cheek I couldn’t believe it, my cheeks started to get warm but before I could say anything she went inside. Quickly I walked to my car and got inside and started driving back to my apartment.

I definitely like her and it seems she likes me to. I need to figure out how to approach the whole asking her out on a date thing. I’m not a romantic I’m a keep to myself smart book guy not a dater or anything.

Could things get anymore complicated for me?
