Emma

I seem Katie smile and already seeing her blush. The guy looks so fine. She better get his number.

The guy with grunge look moves his hair out of his face.

I realized it was my ex. Nate. I quickly ducked down and acted like I was on my phone.

Katie came back and smiling.

I watched Nate leave. I sat up fixing myself.

"Kat you can not date him."

Katie moved closer. "What?"

I whispered like he could hear us. "He is my ex."

Katie face turned to shock. "What happens between you two?"

I sighed. Stressing out how it went down. " long story short..we weren't right for each other and we just couldn't stand each other."

Katie took a bite of her muffin.

"Sorry Em. Why didn't you tell me?"

I shrugged . " It was just something I wouldn't like to talk about."

Katie reaches out and puts had on my shoulder. " Em..I'm sorry."

I hugged her. "Thanks Kat."

Emma wanted to touch up some things back at the studio.

While I, go get myself a new outfit.

I walk in the store.  I went into Topshop. I go here almost everyday but I just wanted to get something simple and cute.

I made my way to pants then the dresses. Then I seen a medium length  royal blue dress. It was suited for a party dress.

I didn't have to think twice of buying. Going to register I seen a blonde hair guy keep staring at me in the men's section.

I tried to ignore but I couldn't. He was so good looking, I couldn't help but stare and smile.

He started making my way towards me as I head out the door.

"I couldn't help admiring how beautiful you are." His hand goes through his hair.

I take the compliment. "Thank you. You aren't so bad your self." I flirt back making me boost up my confidence.

I mean another cute guy coming up to me? What has this day come into? Usually guys think I look like a potato.

"Sammy." He greets.

I gently smile. "Katie."

Sammy looked like he was going to say something but he got interrupted.

"Hey, man we gotta-" voice and face sounded familiar it was Nate's . My expression turned to discomfort.

Sammy introduces me to Nate. "This is Nate. My best friend."

"We kinda already met." Nate replies.

I nudge of embarrassment.

Sammy was lost for words "Oh ok.." He crosses his arms of curiosity. "How did you guys meet?"

"At the coffee shop." We both said at the same time. I bite my lip trying not to make things more uncomfortable.

Sammy shrugs the feeling off. "Looks like you guys just did the job for me." Sammy jokes.

I chuckle. "I didn't know that you coming here too." I turned to Nate.

Nate rubs back of neck and fixes his hat. "Sammy just wanted to get something here since we were around." I nod my head.

Sammy interjects into our conversation. "Katie did you want to come to our party Friday?"

I tilt my head of unsureness. "It's your party on Friday?" Sammy nods. " I don't think I can go.. I have to go to my little sister's birthday."

Sammy slightly awes. "That's cool. Hope you have fun."

" thanks." I wave bye to Sammy and Nate heading out the door.

Emma

"Emma..go home.." Tristen hands me my coffee as I look at more at the designs.

"Go home?" I question. "I can't go home. I feel like I'm still not finish."

Tristen sighs of being annoyed. " you have been here all week I think it's time to have a day off."

I take a deep breath. "But what if this design isn't good enough?"

Tristen rolls his eyes. "Oh..trust me..it's good." Tristen take my coffee and set it down on my desk. "Go home." Tristen pushes me out of the building with my purse. " I will handle the rest."

I roll my eyes on how true that was. "Okay I trust you."  I start walking to my car. I heard my ringtone go off. It was Cameron.

Cameron; hey could you give me a ride?

Emma; Cameron..I am not your damn driver.

Cameron's groans.

Cameron; Please? You are like not that far away from my apartment so why bother of calling an über.

I take a long pause.

Cameron; I'll take you out to eat.

I could already see his devilish smile. I sigh of agreeing.

Emma; Fine..be ready in 10.
