I walked in and already seeing Emma there and got my usual.
I take sit across from her. " You're the best , you know that?"
Emma sniffed. " don't have to tell me twice."
I roll my eyes. "I can't go to the party Friday."
Emma eyes widens up as she drinking from her coffee. "What Kat..this is one of biggest parties. Not only there's going to hot guys..but our careers is on the line."
I sit back. "I know Em it's just that..you know how my mom is with family stuff."
Emma sighs. "Why can't you ditch it this one time."
I crossed my arms. " I have missed a lot of Family things because of my job."
Emma and I work for a fashion company and we mange the designs. On the side we model.
Emma shrugs. " just think about it, okay?"
I sit up. "Okay." I get since I wanted a muffin and have something in my stomach.
I paid for my muffin as I backed up I bumped into someone.
"Watch out." I say rudely.
"Woah..Chill." I look up and seen a long haired guy that had a little of of grunge look.
I changed my attitude.
"My names Nate." Nate introduces himself .
I smile. "Katie."
