Emma

I drive to Cameron apartment waiting. Shortly I seen some doofus coming towards my car.

Oh wait that's Cameron.

Cameron enters my car. "Where you want to eat?" Cameron asks eagerly.

I twitched. "Anywhere." I start the car. " just to tell you this isn't a date."

"Oh darn.." Cameron jokingly saids.

I shove him lightly. "Shut up..A lot of guys want to date me. " I scoff. "Besides you wouldn't even know how I am on dates."

Cameron raises his eyebrows of superise. "I see how it is."

Cameron and I have been friends for a year. We have that type of relationship where we make fun of each other. I see him as a brother.

Katie

Spending dinner with family in a long time feels good. I'm the only one out of the family that misses a family event.

Sitting at the dinner table my older sister Rebecca complaining about her boyfriend like always. My brother Ethan making stupid remarks.

Then my little sister being my moms sidekick. My dad just staying quiet. While I sit and analyze everybody.

My dad stops cutting his steak and puts down his knife. "Honey..Katie so you got a boyfriend yet?"

I knew this question was coming up. I nervously answer. "No, I don't. Work has been getting in the way of my life."

My dad nods. " I know how hard you work."

Rebecca intercepts. " Yeah it's that or she's way too much of clingy person."

Ethan scoffs. "Talking about clingy? Your the one that wants to know where Leo is 24/7." Ethan argues.

Leo is Rebecca's annoyingly hot boyfriend.

Rebecca rolls her eyes. Got to love my siblings. My iPhone vibrated in my back pocket. I got a text from Nate saying he wants to meet up and at his house just to hang out.

I happily acppected. Looking up from my phone smiling.

Liv shots a supious look. " what are you so happy about?"

I lie. " just a funny joke a friend told me." I take the last bite of food. "Mom, dad. Emma wants has a girl emergency..is it okay if I-"

My mom nods before I could finish. "Yeah of course..just drive safe." I smile.

"Thanks mom." I kissed my parents goodbye and waved bye to my siblings.

Nate texted me his address. After a 20 minute drive I finally got to his house. I knocked on the door, a girl answered.

"Who are you?" She sniffed.

"I'm Katie. Where's Nate?" I reply.

She rolls her eyes. "Don't tell me another one of his hoes?"

I have an offended expression. "Excuse me?" I shrugged it off. "You know what..never mind."

I turned away and started heading to my car. "Wait!"

I heard footsteps coming my way. I slowly turned to see who it was.

"Katie I was wondering where you were." I could smell his cologne and damn it smelt good.

"I was just about to leave."

Nate shoulders went up of confused. "Why? Was it Vanessa?" He turned to see her back by the door way. Nate rolls his eyes. "She's not my girlfriend or anything like that."

"It doesn't matter..it matters she thought I was one of your hoes." I say being defensive.

Nate groans. "Look, you aren't and I don't know what she is talking about." I could obviously tell he was lying.

I hardly knew anything about him. All I knew was that he dated Emma and that he is a rapper.

"Maybe it was a bad idea for me to come."

Nate grabs my wrist. "No stay..trust me Vanessa will have to used to the fact that your going to be here a lot too."

Wait what? How does he know that I will come back? Gosh..I should listened to Emma.

"I could you show around. I could introduce to my friends." Nate still holding my wrist.

I gave in. "Fine.."

Nate puts his arm around me as we head inside.

Nate chuckles. "You're going to love my friends."

Somehow I already knew that was going to true but, part of me says I'm entering a dark path.
