[Fun Facts]:

#1: This book was meant to be a speedy read, at least a day (perhaps a few hours) at the most a few days (depending on how dedicated you are to reading and how fast you read). It's amazing that it took me over a year to write this, months to edit, but it will merely take you about a day to read it. I don't know how I should feel, grateful or wasted?

#2: I changed the plot about a dozen times before this story line happened, and I'm still not sure I like it. :)

#3: I made my first map just of Folklore using a fat version of England. :P (FYI; I come in peace, I meant no harm by drawing my map like that. In fact; I drew it like that, for the way Great Britain looks, so please don't hate me.).

#4: This was meant to be a short story. Yeah, you can tell that worked, can't you?

#5: The original title was 'A Fifth Daughter of a Fifth Daughter [Book 1: The Father]' but I decided that was too much, so it became just 'A Fifth Daughter [Book 1: The Dragon Rider]'. See? So, much better.

#6: Ashley started out as a Werewolf, but then I decided to go back into the heritage of his name and realized it was too old for him to be mortal.

#7: Smoke was first going to like Eaton, and then I wrote Ashley's character and I changed it around. Besides, Astrid is definitely better for Eaton; she's a good listener and can kick his butt.

#8: I started out writing this in Eaton's point of view, but the first thing he did was pick up Smoke, and well... I fell in love with her so I completely changed the whole thing.

#9: Filly's name was going to be Lily, but I missed spelled it once and from then on she's been Filly.

#10: My Mon won't stop handing out my printed copy of 5D. Thankfully, it's only been family members and she hasn't given it to my best friend yet, because I'm not sure I want him to read it just yet.

#11: This came to 243 pages and over 100,500 words, which is just awesome.

#12: 'So Alive' by Goo Goo Dolls is the theme song for this book, although, it suited the book better when it was in Eaton's point of view.

#13: Smoke's grandfather's name was changed from Eston to Esston. If you want pronunciation: Don't ask me. I know how I say it, there's no telling me trying to tell you, will result in you saying it correctly. Really, I don't care how you say it.

#14: I've gone from #982 to #5 in nearly exactly six months. Thank you so much.

#15: I'm pretty sure more people have put 5D in their reading list than I have votes.

#16: While I was writing Smoke, you could say I was sort of writing about myself from a stranger's point of view. At first Smoke is reserved and thinks more than she talks. Later on - especially when she finds Cai - she's more open. Talks back, jokes, and isn't afraid to embarrass herself. She became me to a friend's point of view. It's a bit scary to think about.

#17: Smoke started out with nearly white hair.

I'll be adding more later.
