Once upon a time, there was a girl that was tired. Tired of being ditched. Tired of being bullied. Tired of being talked about. Tired of being taken for granted. Tired of being ignored. Tired of feeling unloved. Tired of feeling unwanted. Tired of being tired.
So one day the girl went to school and went through life as normal. She told an old friend how she felt. The friend said, "Then do something about it." So the girl did. One by one, she started quitting. She quit all of her extra curricular activities and then she deactivated her social media accounts. Then she started telling her "friends" that she was moving to New York.
Once she stopped going to school, it was obvious that she left. However, the next day the girls mother showed up at the school and ask the principal to bring the girls "friends" into the office one by one. The mother asked "What did you think of her? How did she make you feel? We're doing something special for her." Before anyone answered, the mother turned her camera on. Some of the responses were:
"She was amazing", "she was my best friend", "she was so smart and talented and pretty", " she made me feel special", "she was beautiful inside and out". One boy even went as far to say, "I love her."
The principal then showed this video at an assembly, right after announcing that the girl had killed herself. And she left a note. The beginning of the note read:
"Once upon a time, there was a girl that was tired".
