Jimmy
I tapped my pen and looked at the clock ticking, it's past midnight. I need to get some sleep.
As I stood up from my chair, I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." To my surprise, it was Pixton. Wearing a hoodie over her gown. She entered and slowly closed the door.
"Forget it. Merlin will send you home." I said while loosening my bow tie. "How can I forget it? I caused this trouble." I looked at her. "Then, do you have any solutions right now?" I sighed and kept my eyes locked with hers. "Last time, you saved me from that tabloid photo by saying we're dating. What is it this time?" I asked her.
"Yeah, right. We will surprisingly announce the marriage like we did in the dating thing." I said as I walked to my chair and I saw her face lighten up. "What do you think? Isn't it good?" I sarcastically said and sat on my chair, once again. "Can we really do that?" I raised my eyebrow, questioning what she just said. "Do what?"
"Announce our wedding." She uttered. "Can we do that?" I'm getting nervous right now. "Pixton, are you serious?" I asked her and all I got was silence.
"I'm asking you if you are serious." She nodded. "What?" I exclaimed in disbelief. "We're not getting married for real," she walked near to my desk. "For real, yes. Only for six months. We can do a contract marriage." I moved my head a little, "A contract marriage?"
"Only for six months. What do you think?" I placed my hands on my desk and started thinking about it. This woman is nuts. "So, you really want to marry me?" She nodded, "Yes." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I tapped my desk, thinking about her idea.
I stood up, after thinking about it. I shot her a look in the eyes and said, "Fine, let's get married." I saw the joy in her face. "J-Jimmy, really? You're gonna marry me?" I nodded. "You heard what I said. Let's get married."
"Thank you so much!" I walked near to her. "But, I do things the other way around." She furrowed her eyebrows and questioned me, "Wait. What?"
"I don't do contract marriage." I said walking even more near to her, making her step back, and backing on the wall. "I do real marriage. I am not a kid to plays with everything. So that means," She is already leaning on the wall, "we share one bed." I said as I placed my right hand on the wall she's leaning on. "You know what happens on top of that bed, right?" I added and raised my eyebrow at her.
"Why are you acting so weird, Jimmy?" I sighed and stepped back. "I should be the one asking you that." I clenched my jaw and I saw her straighten her clothes. "You got arrested for being drunk and asked if we can get married. Now, you're insisting that we should. Isn't that weird?"
"Remember," I pulled out my hand from my pocket and pointed it to her. "I will not get married." She furrowed her eyebrow, she must be confused. "Even if I go crazy and get married, it's not with a person like you, miss Pixton." I saw her blinking to hide her tears, but it's not working.
"I'll just walk home." I didn't utter a single word and she left my office.
"The fuck?" I whispered to myself and grabbed a book behind me.

I wiped my eyes as I walked out of Jimmy's office. I can't believe what I'm doing. I begged a widower to marry a woman he just met weeks ago. I'm insane, I'm out of my mind.
"Hey." I cleared my throat when I heard Derek behind me. "Sup." I turned around, still wiping my eyes. "I am so terrified right now." He said with a sigh. "What makes you terrified?" I asked as we sat down in one of the couches outside Jimmy's office.
"I'm terrified because I didn't think someone would have the gut to do something," he looked at me, "you slept with him last night and drunkenly begged him to marry you, right?" It suddenly hit me, it was like I am punched straight in the face.
"I-I didn't-", he held my hand. "It was my fault. I should've stopped this before we reached here," his eyes were getting red and I can see tears flowing down from his eyes, "I thought you were different." As those words came out of his mouth, I removed his hands off me. "Look, I apologize if I didn't reach your expectations, I'm not even trying to reach it. Just so you know." I straightened my dress and grabbed my bag.
"Go and tell Victoria all of this, I don't care. I am very sincere in asking Jimmy to marry me, remember that." I turned around and found my way out of Jimmy's house.
