I suddenly roused out of my memories when I realized I was beening shoved toward the wall.
"What are you doing?" I screamed.
Mr. Weasley stopped and just stared at me quizzically. I realized that the rest of his family was gone now. Tears began to brim around my eyes casting an uncomfortable blur before me. We we're at least 7 feet from the wall he had tried to push me into before he finally spoke.
"I know your scared, but if we don't go soon we might miss your train. Don't you want to go to school at Hogwarts?" He looked at me with genuine confusion.
"I don't see what shoving me into a wall has to do with school or a train. What's wrong with you. I don't understand." I could feel the tears searing my cheeks as they burnt a path down my face. My shoulders where shuddering under my cloak.
Mr. Weasley put a hand on my shoulder. I tensed willing my body to stop trembling and prepare for the worst. Nothing happened though. I looked up at him and his features we're soft and caring at least that's what I imagined those emotions looked like. "You really have no idea how special you are Angel, do you?"
I didn't quite understand what he meant or if I was to answer. Instead I just looked down at the ground and wiped my tears on my sleeves.
"Your a witch Angel. Hogwarts is gonna teach you great things."
I wanted to laugh at him. What did he take me for even if I was only 11. I wasn't an idiot.
"You must be joking if you think I'm going to believe that. A witch me. Next I suppose you'll tell me your a leprecaun?"
He laughed at that while shaking his head. "No but I've meet a few, funny chaps they are. Quite the pranksters not like my twins though."
Shock must have been scribbled across my face. He wasn't serious was he. He hadn't told me any lies like most of the grown-ups did. He seemed sincere. I didn't know what to think or do. "How do we get to the train."
He smiled at me and eyed the wall. I looked at him, his eyes seemed to question me. I didn't know why but I trusted him. I nodded at him forcing a small smile on my face as I choked down fear. He squeaked my hand reassuringly as I clutched my trunk and we sprinted off toward the wall. I shut my eyes bracing my body and mind for the impact. When I realized we had stopped and weren't running anymore. I was afraid to open my eyes when I heard Mrs. Weasley's voice call for us.
I slowly opened my eyes expecting to see a wall just in front of us and to hear the Weasley family laugh at my gullibility. Instead. There was another platform in front of us. All around me where other people with trunks similar to mine and some had owls in cages. There were families waving at train cars with teens and kids around my age waving back. I let my eyes wander to the front of the cars to the train engine. It was a bold black accented with red trims on the side it read Hogwarts Express. It was billowing little plumes of black smoke. I let me eyes roam the scene before me as Mr. Weasley lead us towards his family outside one of the cars. My eyes feel upon a sign that read 'Platform 9 3/4' a smile stretched across my face. It was true.
"Arthur is everything ok?" Mrs. Weasley looked at her husband with concern.
" Everything is fine Molly. Just getting to know the girl." He beamed at me. "The boys already on?"
"All but Ronald I had him wait to sit with Angel on the train." Ron looked absolutely ill but still managed that awkward smile. I didn't know what to think. Was he repulsed by me. "Ron dear I'm sure she'll be hungry do give her one your extra sandwiches. Won't you?" He nodded his head to his mum. "All set then dears?" Her smiling gaze reached me and bathed me in happiness. Was this what it felt like to have a mum. I nodded to her spreading a smile on my face, at least that's what I hoped it looked like. "Good then off you go loves. Ron dear be a good boy, behave and enjoy your year. We'll see you on the holiday's dear." Her hand settled on my shoulder as I started to board. She beamed a smile at me and pulled me into a hug. "Your always welcomed at the burrow too dear I hope we see you there. I nodded my head to her. I soon realised that Mr. Weasley was running toward us with another boy with brown hair.
"Late addition Molly this here is Harry Potter I found him standing outside the wall confused and looking for the train."
Mrs. Weasleys eyes grew big as she reached up and stifled a gasp. "Bless me its good to see you dear boy."
He beamed at her and reached out his hand. "Thanks ma'am."
"Well dear me look at us just standing about. You kids are gonna miss the train. Hurry, hurry." She nearly shoved us onto the train. We all turned to look back at her. "Stick together now and be good friends to one another. Have a wonderful year. Bye Ronald. Don't get into trouble your brother cause enough."
I turned to look at him he almost looked green. I reached my hand over my mouth to stop myself from grinning. I turned back to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley and waved. "Thank you I hope to see you again." I meant it.
