7 Years Of Love[ON HOLD]

Chapter 5

Claire and her mother made dinner in silence for the whole time . She felt rejected,embarrassed and not to mention stupid,she wanted to cry cause she was right at first and made her stupid confidence make the best of her to think that he really felt the same connection between them  of course not.She went to her room and  let out a shaky sigh when she realized that Daniel wasn't in there but she was curious to know where he is,maybe going back to the house or planning to move far away from her.She rolled her eyes cause she was really thinking head over heels about the moving far away but where could he be ? She went over to the closet and saw that his luggage is still there.

She stared at the bed which she would be sleeping in later with Ethan, just thinking about him makes her stomach filled with butterflies ,her mind took the best of her and she took one of Ethan's shirt ,now she was fully engulfed in his smell when she instantly put the shirt to her nose.

Her eyes flickered to the bed again where they would be sleeping together ,she finally gave up knowing that Daniel wouldn't want her so she sucked it up put his shirt where he took it from and took a shower.

She came out with ease ,well a little. She hurriedly got dressed and exited the room not waiting to make any contact  with Daniel when he came back .

"Darling could you get the table ready for me"her mom asked kindly handing over the plates to her 

"Sure mom" she faked smile taking the plates from her mom and started making the table 

"mom when is dad getting back" she peered her head into the kitchen so her mom would see her 

"One time now" she checked her watch then took her apron off brushing out the wrinkles that were on her floral dress

"Pumpkin!!" A manly voice shouted from the the living room ,Claire ran out to see her dad and her sister 

"Claire!"her sister screamed causing her dad to cover his ears 

"Gabbie!!" Claire screamed and they pounced on one another hugging each other like it was the first time they've seen each other in a long while 

"I've missed you so much " Claire took at a step back noticing a few changes on her sister but will question her later

"The feeling is mutual"she looked around the place then saw her mom and greeted her 

"Let's get dinner started shall we" her mom clapped her hands and everyone made their way to the dining area

"Claire where's Da-" her mom got cut off when she saw him coming down the stairs 

"Here" he smiled at everyone but Claire didn't want to even see him face to face

"Well lets dig in" Claire's sister chimed and started eating her salad 

Everyone made small talk except  Claire stayed quiet , she really didn't want to talk to Daniel after what she asked him to do anyway .She didn't eat much either just playing around with her food like  5 year-old rejecting vegetables

"I think i'm gonna get ready for bed " Claire stood from her chair and looking at her mom with a pleading look to just let her go 

"But sweetie you haven't touched your food yet"  Claire looked at her plate but didn't acknowledge it 

"I'm tired mom" her voice sounded like she was but she obviously wasn't but since everybody was looking at her she didn't want to make a scene

"Oh ok"she didn't want to make a huge argument for something stupid 

Claire ran upstairs to change into her shorts and tank top and hopped in the bed , she covered up with her blanket from head to toe .She freaked out internally when she heard the room door open ,she obviously knew that it was Daniel .He took off his shirt threw it across the room .Claire peaked from under the blanket to see a shirtless Daniel taking off his pants she gasped when it fell to the ground and covered up with the blanket again.

"I know your not sleeping Claire"he sighed and she felt the bed dipped 

"I didn't want to kiss you cause" he paused for a moment and silence took over thats when  Claire  flung the blanket off of her to sit up so she could be staring at him 

"I'm sorry ok, I shouldn't have i'm dumb ok it was stupid of me I think I just felt something kind of different between us like a connection or something I'-" she got cut off when Daniel pinned her down on the bed 

"Listen to me your not dumb or stupid don't say that , I've always wanted this ok?"he said looking her straight at her with no regrets with what hes about to do 

"Always wanted what?" she asked but got her answer when he kissed her passionately and of course she kissed back with no regrets
