I found Paige in the spacious kitchen downstairs. She heard me walk in and gave me a mischievous smile.
"What did you do?" I asked her while rolling my eyes.

"More like what did you do!" She said excitedly.

"I did nothing thank you very much, but can we leave soon? I wanna get home so I can brush my teeth."

"Or you could use Spencer's toothbrush." I gave her a glare

"Ok what the fuck is happening right now?" I said to her frustrated.

"Don't act like you don't know, Lucas told me what he walked in on yesterday outside and I saw him go in your room last night, and let's just say I didn't hear the door open and close again after that." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Literally nothing happened" I groaned and my headache grew more prominent. "Anyways what's the deal with you and Lucas" she laughed at me.

"Please Lucas and I have friendly flirted with each other since the first day I came to this school a few months ago." I raised an eye brow at her not feeling fully convinced but I let it slide and grabbed a juice box from the fridge.

"Alright let's goooo!" I whined and she grabbed the Keys. We walked to the front door and she cracked it open before yelling out,

"BYE LUCAS!" you could hear a faint response of a bye before she shut the door behind her and strolled over to the car.

Paige stayed over my house and continued to ask for details on the night before even though I told her the same thing every time.

"Nothing happened!" I said again flustered.

"All I'm asking for is details of how nothing happened!" She whined back. I groaned in response.

"Outside after fireworks we stayed out. He almost kissed me but Lucas ruined it. That night he came in to say goodnight. Drunk me asked him to stay. He stayed. Nothing happened. I woke up and he was spooning me. The end."

"OMG OMG OMG THAT'S SO EXCITING!!" She cheered. The thing is, is that Paige has already in the 16 years she's been alive done a lot of stuff, where as I had little life experience.

"It's not that big a deal"

"You call spending your first full night with a guy not a big deal? And well not to offend you in your case that's a pretty big deal considering you haven't even had your first kiss yet."

"Ugh whatever, can we change the subject?"

"Fine, but don't you wanna know about my night?"

"Do I?"

"Yes you do, me and Lucas hooked up. Well not hook up, I just blew him." I cringed at her wording and how casual she was about it all.

"So the answer to that was no, but ok. I thought you were never actually seriously into him unless he was all yours?"

"Eh screw sober thoughts when your drunk and I don't regret it, it wasn't a 1 sided night if you know what I mean."

"Ew yes I get it but please stop no more details!" She laughed before grabbing my remote and turning on Netflix. Time to drown out thoughts of Paige last night and Spencer with family guy.
