As soon as I had gotten Elle's call about the tickets I decided that we'd have a spa night to get ready for the concert tomorrow. I swung my legs over my bed, having my cold feet touch the hard wood floor for what feels like the first time this week. Wow, it felt weird to walk. After looking myself in the mirror, I decided that I definitely needed: a hair brush, a shower, and a good teeth cleaning. And maybe some chocolate.
Before I had the time for anything though, I heard the front door to our small apartment unlock, and Elle's cheery voice bounce through the house.
"Helloooooo!" She yelled, dragging out the o,
"Hey Elle!"
"Wow, you're standing, can you believe that?"
"Yeah whatever. What's in the bag?" I said pointing down the plastic bag she was holding in her hand.
"Oh, right! I thought we could have a spa night to get ready for the concert tomorrow?"
"Well clearly great minds think alike. I was hoping the same thing!"
"Yay!"
"Okay, so. Where do we start?"

5:47 pm
"I swear Elle, if this face mask burns my face I will kill you!"
"I won't burn your face, calm down. It's supposed to tingle a bit, that means it'll actually work."
"Ugh, fine."
I walked into the kitchen, Elle following closely behind me, and grabbed some chocolate.
"Want some?"
"Do you think I'm an alien? Of course I want some!"
I laughed loudly, knowing Elle would want some. I went over and sat down on the couch next to Elle and turned on the tv while we shared the chocolate.
"Do you think the face masks are ready to be peeled off yet?" I asked impatiently.
"Not yet, give it 5 more minutes."
"Now?"
"No."
"Now?"
"NO- actually, yeah, probably.." Elle muttered.
"AHA I KNEW IT!" I yelled excitedly. I ran into the bathroom with her following closely behind me as we began to peel of our face masks. Oh my, oh me, oh golly gee, my skin looked FABULOUS. Elle turned to me, clearly she had seen how happy I was with my skin,
"I told you it wouldn't burn your skin." She said smugly.
"Whatever. But thank you for picking this mask, it's amazing."
After the masks we waxed our eyebrows, shaved our legs, did our nails, and put a hair treatment in our hair.

"I am tired." Elle stated.
"Same, we should probably go to sleep if we want to wake up early.." I replied.
"Yeah. Well I'm gonna go to sleep. Night Ire!" She said joyfully.
"Night Elle!"
And with that I was in my room, snuggled up under my blanket, imagining all the scenarios of tomorrow.
