"Fine!" I scream as loud as I possibly can, "I never needed you anyways!" I lie and I don't know if he can tell.

"Fine! And I never needed OR loved you!" After his words leave his mouth the door is slammed shut. I am left alone on the dark porch with the wind blowing my long hair into my face.

I can't control the tears that continue to fall down my now soaked cheeks. The short driveway takes, or at least feels like, an eternity to walk down. The car even seems to take forever to start.

I just need to get away from him, and all of the memories left of him. But that's what gets me.

I can leave him, his touch, his voice, and everything that he does, but it's the memories that will never leave.

And they will never be forgotten.
