"Saiai get to the rocket!" My brother yelled at me. Knex soldiers are chasing us. God damnit. We made it to the rocket and I hacked into dads security system. We got inside and took off like we did this before, which me might have when we wanted to check our Apopka but that's a whole other story, and that time we didn't have permission. Kim took off his mask, he isn't shy around me. We've been together our entire lives so he shouldn't be. He smiled at me with his giant fangs. The stars are amazing. They remind me of that one video game dad wouldn't let me play. He's so not fair. I totally packed Fallout 4 into my bag though so that'll be fun. Once we got far enough away from the Knex ships we unbuckled our seat belts. Kim put the giant duffle bag under the storage of the bottom bunk bed.
"Where did dad say we are going?" I asked my brother. He shrugged.
"He said he already had it set to where we would be going." He told me. I rolled my eyes.
"Well yeah." I crossed my arms and floated. Dads taken us out in space a few times showing us the Galaxy. He told us last year, when we are 16 we would be traveling to another galaxy. Sadly dad can't come with us, and we are a few years early.
"Didn't he leave some note somewhere?" I asked. Searching through the rocket.
"I don't know. I'm sleepy Saiai. Do you mind if I take a nap?" He asked.
"If you puke your cleaning it up." I told him still searching. He laughed and buckled himself into the bottom bunk.
"How many hours till we get to the other Galaxy?" I asked.
"I don't know Saiai now stop asking questions." He said agitated. Not my fault I like questioning everything and knowing the plan. He's the all mighty mind reader. He should know everything.
"I don't know everything. And stop staring at me." He told me with his light blue eye glowing.
"Well stop reading my mind! You look like a baby when you sleep." I poked his fang and he rolled over.
"I'm older so I'm in charge, go play Super Mario Bros or something." He told me.
"You are older by like a minute! Shut up. And I'm going to play Super Mario Bros because I want to, not because you told me." I scoffed and kicked off the bunk bed to the drivers seat.
"Or maybe I'll hack to see where we are going.." I said out loud.
"Don't touch the controls, you'll just mess up our course." Kim loudly told me not to.
"Ye of little faith. Whatever. Why are you so tired anyway?" I asked.
"None of your business, let me sleep." He told me. I'll be nice just this once. Guess I have time to worry about dad. I know he will be alright physically, we always knew he was different from everyone else, but I'm worried about his emotions, and just his sanity. Me and Kim drive him crazy but, I'm worried what Knex torture is going to do to him. He told me not to worry so much 'You're only 13' yeah whatever. It's my job to worry and not let you know about it. I worry about Kim a lot. We have always been so close but he's been a bit more distant lately. I turned the chair around and stared at the back of my brothers hair. I have dads dirty blonde hair, but Kim's hair is like a black to white ombre. Dad said he has our mothers hair, and I have her horns. We have her looks, but we barley know anything about her. I don't even know her name. Nana has white hair, pure white hair and I have one green eye that's the same color as Nana's. Nana left three years ago. She made a joke about how she doesn't want to put of with ours pre-teen years. But I feel like she has something where we are going. We are going to see Nana again, that's something to look forward too. Other than that I have no clue what to expect.
"Screw it I'm hacking." I stood up and opened the controls. I monkeyed around with the key board and managed to get to auto pilot. Let's see, we are about here.. So in Dads map, we are going.. Over here. Milkey Way? Who the heck names a Galaxy the Milkey Way? Well I guess I know where we are going. Better do some research on this Milky Way Galaxy. Dad told me of some far away Galaxy where there was a Star Wars with weird looking hair styles and strange swords, maybe this is it? Nah. I pulled up a diagram of the Milky Way. Hmm... Looks like we are going to this one called..
"Kim how do you pronounce this?" I asked my brother. He let out an annoyed moan as he unbuckled and jumped over here. I pointed to the word and he rubbed his eyes.
"It's pronounced Earth. It's the only planet in the Milky Way with life, other than some weird race on Mars but they don't talk about that. Need me to define the Sun too?" He asked.
"What's a Sun?" I asked back. He let out a heavy sigh and floated back to bed. Joking, I know a Sun is a star that doesn't move. So Ha slightly older twin brother, ha. I'm just going to fall asleep, it's a good idea."Saiai wake up! We are here we are here!" Kim yelled shaking me. I woke up with a head ache and watched as we flew
past the big red planet. It's almost as big as Knex, cool. We slowed down as we came closer to the blue planet. Wooooaaahhh. Kim buckled up and I leaned back as we entered its atmosphere.
"You should put on some shoes." I told my brother.
"I don't own shoes." He responded.
"What? But just last week dad got you a new pair!" I said in disbelief.
"Yeah well I burned them." He told me. Stupid brother. He's always hated shoes but our town of alien miss-fits accepted his bare feet.
"I just want to make a good impression on who ever we are supposed to meet. I read the note, it was in the glove box." I told him.
"What did it say?" He asked.
"It said to tell the people in black uniforms we are Fred and Lakin's kids. Then hand them this holo tape dad made." I answered my brother.
"Ok.. Well. Welcome to, planet Earth. Wonder what the people look like?" He asked.
"Guess we will find out." I told him. The ships lights turned yellow and we knew what was about to happen.
"3..2..1.." Our seats flew out and everything under the bed, in this case the duffel bag, shot out with us. We flew for a few moments screaming our head off then parachutes came out. We laughed like crazy as the ship crashed into this huge plain of...
"Kim what is that?! The ship went right through it! Is it jelly?!" I asked.
"I think it's water!" He yelled back. I've never seen that much water. Dad made water for us just to drink but this is a BIG GLASS OF WATER. I want to go jump into it. A few minutes passed and Kim, the duffle bag, and I landed on a beach. I love sand, we have it all over Cogros but it's much hotter there. I've always liked the cold but grew to love the boiling temperatures of Cogros. This is going to be fun.
