This was a mistake. Mia is the most annoying Blood Hound I've ever chained. By law I'm not allowed to let her go unless I kill her, which sadly I cannot do because she is my bosses daughters mom. Perhaps I can get Mr. Or Ms. Fars to tell me what happened to their father. If he is dead I may be able to kill my Dog. When Demons die they just have to work for the devil till they're free again so it's no big deal. She can't sell her soul because she never had one. Or I can take her to demon court, won't get rid of the chains though. No she has a kid I can't do that, I sympathize with her to much. I rolled over in my bed. Alex is snoring again. I get its allergy season but she's magic, there should be a spell to stop her snoring. I can't think with all this noise. I whispered a spell and made myself deaf. There. Perfect silence. I drifted off to sleep in the perfect silence of everything.

I woke to a abrupt shaking. Alex was screaming something over me and it made me smile to see her mouth move but no words come out. I said the spell to get rid of the silence and her screaming voice hurt my sensitive ears.
"Alex relax! Please lower your voice." I said carefully getting up so I wouldn't hit the top bunk of the bunk bed I share with Alex.
"Haru! I thought you were dead! Or in a coma or something! Or dead!" Alex said breathing heavily.
"I'm fine. I just cast a spell on myself because you snore very loudly." I said trying to calm her down. Neil ran in wearing her pajamas.
"What's goin on?! Why were you screamin?!" She asked. She had a frying pan in her hands and she was staring at me. She looked at my pajama pants then looked at Alex.
"Seriously, gross. She's my cousin." I said taking off my shirt and putting on my work uniform.
"I thought Haru was in a coma or dead." Alex said embarrassed.
"I put a spell on myself because she snores." I said buttoning my vest. I looked at Neil and she was blushing, probably embarrassed she thought I was attacking my cousin.
"Jesus guys." Neil said setting the frying pan down. Alex went to change into her maid uniform and I left giving her privacy. Neil followed me out.
"Do you always have to change in front of us?" She asked.
"I always change in my room right when I wake up, you were in my room after I woke up I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable." I apologized. Neil put the frying pan back in the cupboard. I got out the materials for tea and put them on the counter.
"What kind of tea would you like?" I asked.
"Peach please." Neil answered. Her accents still cute to me even after all these years.
"Look Haru, I'm sorry I thought you would.. To Alex and.." She struggled to say.
"Apology accepted." I said putting the tea pot on the burner.
"Just Alex was screamin bloody murder and I'm a idiot-" she continued. Now she's annoying me.
"I said your apology was accepted just drop it, please." I tried to say calmly. I have worse things to worry about, like what to do with Mia today and to find out what happened to Mr. Farsworth, or Mr. Fars, I don't know if his name is even Fred anymore. And I have Aimi to think about.
"You're always so kind to me and Alex, why are you so cold nowadays?" She asked.
"Just a lot on my mind." I answered.
"Haru come on. You can talk to me and Alex." She pressured.
"Really, I'm fine Neilina." I said.  I don't need to burden my friends with problems I can solve alone.

"Haru I'm bored." Mia complained.
"Go entertain yourself." I ordered. She grabbed another book and sat quietly in the reading area. This is my favorite place to take Mia because she shuts up and reads. I never realized how fast of a reader she was, and how much she loved reading.
"Hey Haru, I read all the age appropriate books. Do you know any good kid chapter books?" She asked setting down the last Harry Potter.
"I didn't read much in my youth. How about Bridge to Terabithia?" I suggested putting away the stacks of books this family, mostly Mia, is to lazy to put away.
"Sure where is it?" She asked. I walked a few rows over and handed her the book.
"Thanks." She said sitting down. I can respect Mia for not judging a literal book by its cover, but she's not like that with people. She underestimated me and my inner snobby teenager accepted her challenge. And now I'm in this mess having to talk to her everyday. By The law of Witchcraft and Demons we are obligated to spend 3 hours together every day. It used to be 6 hours because it's Satans favorite number but he grew soft and reduced it by half. I'm so glad it's not 6 hours. I can barley stand 3. When the library is clean, I have to help make dinner or watch Tomoe or Yuniku or Kimyona it's torture with Mia around.
"Done." She said after half a hour.
"Did you even read it?" I asked.
"Yup." She answered handing it to me.
"Then what is it about?" I asked. She sighed.
"A kid names Jesse, he has a love for running and drawing and he meets a weird girl names Leslie who doesn't have a television, they become friends after a while and go to the woods where they make a imaginary place called Terabithia, after drama with a bully Jesse goes to the Museum with his music teacher and when he comes back Police are there and he finds out Leslie died because the stream overflowed where their rope to go to Terabithia is. Jesse is in denial and he lets all the colors of a art kit Leslie gave him bleed out in the steam-" Mia rambled on.
"Ok ok you read it." I said taking the book from Mia.
"Now I'm bored again and we have another half hour." Mia said.
"Just go and we can all watch a movie together or something." I ordered her. She left without another word and I thought about what I should do with everything. So many problems to solve.
