Kaneki x Reader Part 2:

3 weeks later:

You POV:

As I layed on the bed with my injury almost healed. Kaneki walked into the room as always with a tray of food and some pain killers, he's been taking care of me ever since that day, he doesn't let me get out of bed let alone come out of the room. I can only get out of bed to go to the bathroom, he let's me borrow some book of his to entertain myself.

"Hey (y/n), how are u feeling?" He says as he puts the food tray in my lap

"I'm feeling better but I really need to stretch out my muscles, they are starting to hurt from just laying down all day" I said with a small smile as I eat the amazing lunch he brought me, it was my favorite, (f/f)[(f/f)=favorite food]

"*sigh* okay but if you fall down your going back into the bed until you are completely healed, you hear me?" He said as he looked at me, I give a small smile and nod my head 'yes' as I keep eating

We made small talk until there was a knock on the door kaneki made the 'shh' sound and we heard Hide in the door calling out to him,

"Really? You're going to keep avoiding him?" I whispered to him

"I have to, or he'll end up hurt like you are now or worst, dead" he whispered back as he looked at the ground,

"he is really worried about you" I say as I get up

"What are you doing?" He asks as he sees me get up

"I'm going to open the door" I say as I slowly make my way to the front door

"No!" He yells at me and I smirk as my plan worked

"Kaneki open up I heard you yelling, are you okay?!" Said Hide with a panicked voice

"Your best friend is calling you" I say as I go sit in the living room

"or do you want me to open the door for you?" I fake trying to get up as Kaneki runs to the front door

After kaneki opens the door they walk inside and Hide is surprised to see me here, we said that Kaneki was just afraid that he might hate him and he was depressed about the whole ghoul attack thing so that's why he ignored him, Hide seemed to believe it so we started talking like in the good old days until Hide had to leave saying he was tired and that he didn't want to be out late because of the ghouls, after he left kaneki made dinner and we ate while watching t.v.

Kaneki's POV:

As (y/n) and I watched t.v. I couldn't help but blush at how close she was to me, her amazing smell of roses in her hair was hypnotic and her beautiful (h/l/)(h/c) hair fell nicely over her face, I didn't notice I was staring until she looked at me and said

"Kaneki, are you okay? Your face is really red" and she leaned over touching my forehead with her hand

"You don't seem to have a fever" she said and I suddenly stood up and said

"I'm okay, we should go to sleep now, it's getting late" she looked at me confused but stood up and turned off the t.v. and started walking towards the bedroom

"Are you sure that you're okay? You've been sleeping in the couch for 3 weeks now I bet its not really comfortable to sleep in" She said as she looked at me with a pained expression

"Im fine" I said as I picked up my pillow and blanket and started laying them on the couch

Your POV:

"Im fine" he said and began making his bed 'this is gonna be embarrassing but I can't let him keep sleeping in the couch, he has to go to that café to work so he might as well sleep comfortably in his own bed'

"You can sleep with me on the bed" I said as I felt my cheeks heat up

He didn't even move when I said that so I thought he didn't want to

"I don't mind...." I said and began walking to the bedroom.

I took a bath and walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, I didn't see any light coming from the living-room so I figured he went to sleep.

As I walked to the bed and layed down under the covers. I suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist

"Aaahh!" I yelled and jumped out of the bed, I ran and turned on the lights when I saw it was just Kaneki I heaved a sigh

"What's wrong?" he said as he sat up

"You scared the living shit out of me! Thats what happened!" I yelled as I leaned on the wall trying to calm my fast beating heart

"I didn't mean to do it, sorry" he said as he looked me up and down then looked away blushing only then did I realized that I was wearing my sleeping gown(picture above) and I blushed a crimson red.

I turned off the light and went back to bed facing Kaneki as i thanked the darkness for hiding my blush.

Kaneki shuffled a little and wrapped his arms around me slowly and pulled me closer.

"I love you" i said as i closed my eyes and layed my head in his chest

Last thing i remember before dozing off into slumber was Kaneki's soft voice saying "I love you more" and a kiss was placed in the top of my head.
