Chapter 16 -Walmart!!!

Now it was Amaya's turn.

"I REGRET NOTHING!!!!!" Amaya's screams as she slides down the make shift rope landing with a thud on the ground beneath her."Ouch!"

"You idiot! Now everyone's gonna know that we're trying to escape!" Sophie's whispers.

"Hey, if I was gonna die I wanna die with a cool catch phrase." Amaya's says getting up and rubbing her butt that she landed on.

"Oh, so if you died you were planning on letting them catch me?" Sophie argues.

"Who cares? I'm not dead and that's all that matters, now where the nearest Walmart?" Amaya says calmly letting go what they were arguing about before.

"Why are you looking for Walmart?" Sophie asks, confused. "Aren't we looking for a phone box? I want to get back home!"

"Yeah, yeah," Amaya's says waving her off, " first, Walmart."

"Why Walmart?" Sophie asks following Amaya off the propert. The mansion lights had started turning on, so they silently agreed to get the hell out of there.

"I once read this book called '100 ways to get kicked out of Walmart." Amaya's, letting it sink in to Sophie's brain."Since there are no Walmarts in Australia..." Amaya says letting Sophie think of the rest.

"You want to get kicked out of Walmart 100 times?" Sophie says, Amaya nods." Okay I'm in!!!" Sophie argues eagerly.

"Yay! This is gonna be a fun night!"

"What's the plan?" Sophie asks. There hiding in one of the isles coming up with a plan.

"We gotta ask every employee where the purple apples are." Amaya says.

"But they don't have purple apples here." Sophie

"That's the point!"

"Ohhh."

"Okay, I'm going up to the guy called Stanley." Amaya's says.

"How do you know his name is Stanely?" Sophie asks.

"I can read his name tag from here." Amaya answers, rolling her eyes.

"Oh. Okay! Let's go, I'll ask that creepy chick over there." Sophie say squinting at her name tag."what's her name?"

"Sally. I think." Amaya's says. The girl, Sally, is chewing on a piece of bubblegum and dully swiping diffrence things her current customer is buying.

"Okay, let's go!"

Sophie goes first, waiting for the person at the counter to finish paying before going up to Sally.

Sophie smiled at her poliety."Hi there 'Sally' um, you wouldn't happen to know, where the purple apples are, would you?"

Sally gives her a bored look before blowing up a bubble and popping it.

"I quit." Sally says keeping a calmed face. Sophie's face drops, her eyes widening. Sally continues." This is the 6th time today somebody has asked me that question!"

Sophie, slightly shocked, backs away slowly from her. Sally, not paying attention to Sophie, rips off her name badge and storms out of the store.

Sophie cones back to sit with Amaya. "I never ment to make her quit her job!"

Amaya shrugs,"sometimes we gotta make sucrifices."

"Like what you were gonna do to me earlier?" Sophie asks.

"Possibly." Amaya say before getting up towards the Stanely guy.

"Hello sir." Amaya says smoothly.

"Hello what can I do for you?" He asks as he stacks cans onto a shelf.

"Do you know where the purple apples are?" Amaya asks grinning from ear to to ear.

Stanely isn't impressed."Unless you here to buy something, get out."

Amaya puts her hand up in surrender, "jezz just a joke. I'm going okay."

Amaya retreats back to Sophie's side. Sophie grins."What next?"

Amaya smiles, then she thinks for a moment."let's sit on the top shelves." Amaya says looking up the isles.

Sophie looks up."But that's really high!"

"Fine than, I'll do it!" Amaya says getting up, she than proceeded to climb the shelves. After a while she finally got to the top shelf and grinned down at Sophie.

"I made it!" Amaya said waving down at her."See how high I am."

Sophie nods, kinda scared that she's gonna hurt herself."You can come down now."

"But I don't wanna." Amaya whines.

"But you'll get kicked out." Sophie says.

"That's the point." Amaya says still grinning."but I'm gonna get down, I'm slightly scared I'll fall." She says before jumping down and landing flat on her feet.

Sophie looked at her, shaking her head." One of these days your gonna give me a heart attack."

Amaya smiled." That's what I'm aiming for."
