My Pet Cat (?)

Chapter 1: Can I keep him?

 Y/N's POV     

                I was walking in the park with my brother, Byun Baekhyun. I just graduated a week ago and came back from America to Seoul. We were talking about our lives after I left for America 2 years ago. I told him that I lived with my friends, Chase and his sister Charline. He told me that he got a job as a chef in a restaurant near our house. 

           On our way back home, I found a shop that I haven't seen before. I ran into the shop and was amazed by the decoration and the animals. Yep, I'm amazed by a pet shop. Baekhyun came after a few moments and stood next to me. 

"You want a pet?"

"Can I?"

"Sure! Just..... expect it as your welcome-back gift. So what kind of pet?"

"A cat maybe?"

"Just as I thought"

        Baekhyun asked a nearby saleswoman and she turned around. She wore a maid-attire outfit and had her hair braided to the left. I ran up to her and hugged her. 

"Unnie May!"   

"Woah slow down kid! You're sucking the air out of me!"

"Mian unnie"

I let go of her but my arms are still around her body. 

"How are you, Y/N? Its been almost 2 years!"

"Nah. Its alright. Except a few this and that..."

"Oh, did you get a new boyfriend?"

"Unnie-ah! What're you talking about??"

A cough was heard and we turned around. I ran up to him and hugged him the same way I hugged May unnie. 

"Woah, kid! How've you been?"

"Yah! Don't call me kid! I'm just a few months younger than you!"

"I see that you want a pet cat eh?"

"HMM!"

Kay let go of me and walked towards a person. Then the person went gone and came back with a small cage. Kay took the cage and set it down in front of me. 

"Come on Sehun. Don't be shy"

A small white cat came out. But there's something unusual about it. It's eyes are unusual. They're rainbow colored. The cat- I mean, Sehun came towards me and looked up to me with its big eyes.

"It's a male. People who came here usually take the female so we ran low on male. I hope you like Sehun"

"Hmm. He seem rare to find."

"How'd you find him?"

"May and I were taking out the garbage near our house when we heard his meow. We followed his sounds and found him near the dumpster with a hurt leg. We showed pity and picked him up and cleaned him. Then we put him in here until he found a new owner. People who came here looked at him strangely because of his eyes. I don't know about you but Sehun is special"

I listened to his story- I mean, explanation while I stroked his back. Sehun purred every stroke I gave. Rude people. How can you call rainbow colored eyes strange? its just a bit unusual. But I like it. I think that the eyes're cute and cool. 

"Anyways, can I keep him?"

"Sure. But you have to pay."

"Arraseo......"

"Just kidding Y/N!"

"You can have Sehun for free"

"YESSSS!!!!! But isn't that illegal?"

"No worries, I'm the owner anyways"

"Jinja??? Who are you and what have you done to the real Kay?"

"This is the real Kay Y/N."

"And don't forget to take these too!"

May gave me a red collar with the name "Sehun", cat food and a bubble tea plushie? I asked why she gave me a bubble tea plushie. She just chuckled and said that Sehun likes the bubble tea kind of stuffs. I just replied with an oh. 

Baekhyun oppa helped me with putting on Sehun's collar. It fitted perfectly. And omfg, if he won't get hurt, I would pinch the life out of it. I thanked the both of them and walked out of the store with Sehun who's in my arms, sleeping, and Baekhyun who's by my side while carrying the stuff for Sehun. 

Finally, a pet for me..........
